Good afternoon y'all. I have a quick question. I ordered the Icon 2.5 inch stage 3 lift and originally had 35s on order. The shop convinced me otherwise to go 37s. He assured me that if there is any rub it'll be minor and not a big deal at all. Normally I would think they are trying to upsell me on more expensive tires but he went and discounted more expensive tires to the same price I was gonna pay for the 35s.

My question is, should I stick with these 37s, or should I call and go back to the 35s. Thank you for your time and help.

What 37s are they? If it’s a crappy brand and he’s trying to dump em off, that might be a sign. If they’re k02s then they’re only 35” anyways.

Stick with the 37s. You’ll love the look and you’ll probably end up with them eventually anyway. If something breaks, upgrade it.

Life’s short, don’t waste time going with 35s if you fancy 37s. Enjoy your new setup!
??

Also, the guys at the shop probably just know/think that lift runs big and will look odd with 35s. They might just be looking out for you

Really appreciate your reply! I ended up calling the shop and adding extended bump stop spacer kit

I run the same tires on 4.5” lift. You’ll love them. I ran 2” spacer in the front only when I first installed mine, then went to a 4.5” lift shortly after.

If you are upping your tire size go 37 rather than 35. The difference in highway performance is imperceptible, they will ride better and they pay off on the trail. Plus if looks is your game they pay off that way as well. Usually aren't much more expensive.

Then regear and add lockers.
