Hello all. I'm hoping this is the right forum to ask. I have a 2020 Jeep gladiator Overland. It has 57k miles and was brought brand new. It came with the LED headlight and tail light package. I also had the dealer install the factory Mopar lift on it. I recently received a 2021 Gladiator Texas Trail which is based on the sport trim. It has no lift and has the Halogen lights.

I wanted to know if it would be possible to have someone take the lift off the 2020 Overland and switch it with the 2021 Texas trail. Would it be part for part or is there anything else I need to be aware of. Also, I'd like to switch the headlights and tail lights (LEd) from the Overland to the 2021 Texas trail. So in the end, it's basically switching Lights and lift from the 2020 to the 2021 and in the end, the Overland would have Halogen lghts and no mopar lift. Is this a simple swap? If so, how much should I be looking to spend? Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

I believe headlights and taillights should be swappable, with a Tazer or something similar to code it for LEDs.

The lift kit...I'd like to hear others opinions, but 57k is probably nearing the life span of the shocks anyways. You'd be putting older, worn out components on a year newer vehicle (although you didn't specify the new mileage).

If you can, try to snag a last minute Black Friday deal on a good lift kit, and if you can't afford installation right now...just save up and wait a bit. You'll be much happier and better off with a fresh new set that will last another ~5 years instead of something already 5 years old.

Swapping the parts between 2 trucks is like doing the labor of 3 lift kit installs. I'm guessing it would be chassis to buy another lift and have it put on.

Zac said it well regarding the lift kits and switching components from vehicle to the other. Unless you are doing the work yourself it doesn’t make financial sense to swap the parts considering the cost and worn parts. Also, to swap the lights you will need to change the programming in both vehicles. If Taser were used for programming both vehicles the cost of the tasers will most likely exceed the cost of new LED lights, excepting higher end lights like Mopar, Baja, Morimoto etc. Through the years I have changed a lot of parts and at this point I would not put old parts on the newer Gladiator.

Headlights and taillights are easily interchangeable, but I’d just buy a new lift for the TT and call it good.
