MSRP was about $72k on our 2024 Mojave X back in March 2024 (in Pennsylvania). I don’t know what that boiled down to after trade-in and several negotiations back-n-forth…..
That is nuts. My Mojave was $51k out the door in 2021. Granted I special ordered without a lot of the crap that comes standard but damn $71k?

At Rausch Creek. There is a trail know as Topless for Tatta's. It's a tight eastern tree lined trail. TJ's have a tough time with it. I've taken my PW through it a few times. I've taken my JT trough it too.

My 2021 Rubi sticker tag was $69k. I bought it used in 2023 for $49k.

The dealership that has the Power Wagon I was considering messaged me that they dropped the price by $2500. I told the guy to let me know when they drop it another $2500. Crickets.

They’ll sit on it for a while to see if anyone else is willing to pay at that price before they drop it again. If nobody buys it over a period of time (or by the end of the month) - they’ll call ya back.

Have you contacted other dealerships to see what they can offer you for the same vehicle?

Yup… it is nuts….. The ’24 would have some upgrades & options that raise the price from your 21’.

…..welcome to the new normal. Where everything costs a lot more and employees are screaming to make more $$. It’s certainly not going to get any cheaper to actually produce the vehicles….with the high costs of everything that makes up a vehicle…to fuel costs…to employee salaries & such.

I'd like to see how much auto workers salaries went up compared to upp level management and especially the ceo"s salaries. Corporate greed is what's driving high prices.

The particular truck I was looking at is pre-owned. 25k miles.

I forgot to mention in my previous post that the PW‘s 6.4 Hemi engine requires mid grade gasoline which is on average .50 cents more per gallon than the Gladiator’s regular grade gasoline. Also, the PW is made in Mexico whereas the JT is made in the USA if that matters to you as it does to me.
Interesting you say that, the manual for my 2024 says 87 now. I could have sworn in previous years it says 87 is acceptable but 89 is ideal.

And that is probably all it is - a rumor. A 35% drop in msrps across the board seems about as likely as a giant pig taking flight.
The prices are inflated that a 35% reduction wouldn't even bring them back to true market value. I think Stellantis in particular will do it. They are on the ropes right now. Terrible decision making at the top of that company.

I can't believe people keep believing this B.S. Stellantis already had price reductions on numerous slow selling vehicles for 2025 and none of them were even remotely close to 35%. No automotive manufacturer operates with a 35% profit margin much less has the ability to lower its prices 35% and still make a profit. Labor and manufacturing costs continue to increase not decrease.

Well, based current discounts of 25% i don't think 35% is a stretch. Not a msrp drop but another deeper cut to get stuff selling. My 2024 sat on the lot since Jan. Almost a year. Sold at 26% off msrp. Much more left over to sell

Before the JT I looked hard at PW, one thing that caught me off guard was how much weight you could put in the bed, for a 3/4 ton it’s not a reasonable pay load. Nobody at Dodge would come out and say it, but it’s because of the CG of the beast. Much like JT, no slip in camper. Good luck picking something that fits you.
