This is interesting. I just noticed that all four of my Wildpeak R/T’s are doing the same exact thing. All four tires look and feel like they are feathering on the inside lugs. ?
Pressure? Every tire is different. I’d check with falken.

Might be PSI too high, apparently going by the door sticker isn't accurate

A friend of mine bought the same tires and initially didn’t like the ride. He lowered the pressure to 27 and then loved them. But it’s specific to the tire. Another friend has bb at’s in 35” pizza cutters and Mickey recommends 40psi for him. Every tire is different.

Too high of pressure would explain why your outside tread is fine, it’s not even touching the ground when you’re driving.

Exactly. Mickey Thomson asked for pictures showing the tread to ground contact as a verification. They liked what they saw at 27 cold. I’m also very watchful to add or remove air with seasonal temp changes. They’re expensive tires, so I watch them pretty closely. They’re quiet on the road, handle snow, ice, and water beautifully, and are killer off road.

But that would mean the inside tread wouldn’t be touching either, but that’s where the funky wear pattern is happening
Only the fronts or all four? What size and pressure?

Edit: sorry. I just read all four. How’s the alignment?

Could be but then how is only one side wearing bad on all four tires? I was thinking I was overthinking what I’m seeing but then you posted the same issue. I’m running 35/11.50/17 Wildpeak R/T. Less than 1000 miles. 25k on the truck. This is strange wear on a solid axle rig.
I’d call Falken and send pictures of the wear.

I’ll swing by @Discount Tire tomorrow and have them look at it.
FWIW, the tire shops seem to get this wrong a lot. They all say I’m running low pressure, but they don’t check with manufacturers.

Well the tires have to touch the ground somewhere ?‍♂

I contacted Nitto when my Trail Grapplers were chunking and they told me to go through Discount where I bought them. I’m guessing Falken might say the same but I will try to contact them.
I meant to ask about pressure.

I found this chart on their website but it’s showing the max load at that pressure. Fully loaded down for camping my truck was 6300 lbs so at 25 psi the tires can more than handle that, but IDK if I want to run 25 all the time.
IMG_8448.jpeg

I sent them an email last night telling them about the issue so I’ll see if they respond.
I run 25 in my 35x12.5 rears all the time, 27 up front. Going off the chalk test i could probably drop a couple more PSI and be fine BUT I'm on stock rims so I'm leaving it right there.

OP:

courtesy of bridgestone: Heel/toe tire wear: This happens when one side of the tread blocks is wearing faster than the other side circumferentially. When you run your hand over the tread blocks, they will feel like saw teeth. Heel/toe wear typically occurs in a shoulder rib and is often caused by excessive positive or negative toe.
