Door Electrical Plug ~ Receiving Side Trouble

I recently put my doors back on & ta-da... the motor on the passenger side power mirror does not work.

I've seen a lot of posts about the pin side getting bent, but what about the other side? Aka the "female" side.

After countless times checking & bending the pins straight, I've decided my problem is on the other side.

Which slots/openings do the pins for the mirror motors use? Tomorrow night I'll have a magnifying glass in hand & ready for your input.

I can't find the location. But I know there is a separate fuse for each seat in the fuse box for the seat heaters. So that may mean there is a fuse for each window as well. Only thing i can say past that is make sure you are fully seating the plug.

update: after some research the PWR windows do not have a serviceable fuse they are time delay auto reset relays and controlled by the BCM. If the window doesn't work after 5-10 min of sitting then you may need to go to the dealer for a BCM reset or If I was you i would pull both batteries and ground the system out and reset it that way. A few power cycles might do it too. Just turn the truck on and off a few times letting it go into full rest mode between ignition cycles. (all dash, ext, and int lights off)

That last picture looks like it is showing damage to the plug. If the pins are aligned correctly, you should still be able to connect the door harness to it. The plastic looks like it is missing where it guides the pins into the socket.

On my driver's side plug, i had an issue. I take my doors off pretty regularly and for years it seemed that after I put the doors back on I would have to wiggle the plug a little bit to get everything to work correctly. It wasn't until about a month ago that I found the issue.

Part of the connector was broken and the plug wasn't going all the way in. When you look at it, everything looks fine. But I pulled the connector out to look at something else and when I turned it around, I had a chance to see the back side of the connector. And that's when I noticed it wasn't all the way. And it's probably been like that for years. If I can recreate the scenario, I'll upload a pic.

WOW. I think you are right. I couldn't see that with my own 2 eyes + Flashlights. Turns out I probably should have closely looked at the pictures too.
