According to M0parinsider it is:

  • Electrified 4xe Model: Jeep plans to introduce a Gladiator 4xe plug-in hybrid (PHEV) by the end of 2025, as part of its strategy to offer electrified versions of all Jeep models in North America. More information to come in the near future.
Could have sworn they said the 4xe was a late 2024 introduction?

As for the glut of 2024s, it's real. Within 100 miles of me in the Baltimore Metro, there are nearly 600 JTs of all trims for sale, with a little under half of that being Rubicons and Mojaves.

And nationally there's just over 16,800 of all JTs. I think in Q1-2024 that was around how many 2023's were still on the lot. Maybe they cut back production?

Bikini was a "late 2024" but they said 4xe was 2025. What they didn't say is would it be model year 2025 or "out in" 2025, as in an early '26 the way they used to release cars.

No sign of bikini.

And, with the "free" automatic etc., many of the 2025's will be cheaper than the yet-unsold new 2024s with the same stuff, which makes no sense. This daisy chain will need to affect new, older new, and used. Market's got some shifting to do.

I agree with you. It needs to shift.

I dont think there was a launch date mentioned, and production has been slowed so maybe they'll drop them on lots in January-February and let the dealers work through back stock? They did that with the 2024, sort of.

And if that doesn't happen or work, Tavares loves some incentives.

Where is the 4XE?
They said "in 2025", not for the 2025 model year.
I read each of their statements carefully and they never mentioned the 2025 model year, always said "coming in 2025" or words to that effect.
So look for it to come out IN 2025 is how I took all of their talking.

Now that the '25 Order Guide is out, what is the last day to put in a custom order for a '24, or has that date already come and gone?

Yeah, I honestly don't recall. Seems lots of schedules are slipping these days across manufacturers. Not sure what's behind that.

I know this past week the lines have been shut down . One story cites shortage of parts from vendors and another claims it as an attempt to manage inventory. <shrug>

So basically a 24 model with no improvements, just no $2k upcharge on the auto transmission? No wonder the Gladiator is going to be put to rest, terribly mismanaged.

I'm in the market and have email alerts for Cars.com on Gladiators, and have been getting "price drop" emails of substantial sizes the last 2 days (post 2025 announcement) after none of consequence for quite a while. So, if you're thinking of trading-in, do it now before the values continue to drop. If you're going to buy (like me), wait if you can.

They are running the Jeep brand right into the ground. They have killed value once again with over inventory for 24s just like they did with the 23s. They have inflated prices then drop them. Who even knows what msrp means anymore with this company ? I am surprised they don’t start saying or best offer On the window stickers, lol !! I believe Jeep will be gone or sold in the near future. Pretty sad to say the least. I love mine so far and will keep it at least until the 5/ 60,000 is up. Hell at this rate it isn’t worth anything on trade in any way. Not being political , the way this company is run kind of looks familiar don‘t it ?
