Hi folks. Want a dash cam for the Gladiator. My issue is we have both hard and soft tops. Hard top mounting a rear cam is easy. But how does one mount the rear cam on a soft top? Thanks for any advice

Where do you mount the rear camera?

I’ve been trying to find a solution for mine for years and nothing seems to work well.
I can snap a pic but I mounted it on the pass side, right next to the sliding window. tucked the cable down and along the door plastics.

Oh, sorry I thought you had the rear mounted for soft top use. That's what we're really interested in. Hard top is no issue, but the soft top is the purpose of the thread.

ahh, missed that. I have the RR Voyager soft top for the summer and swap between the two. I had the same concern and ended up just leaving the rear unattached all summer. I had the top open most of the time any way. That 3m tape all the cameras come with would not play well with a plastic window or at least that was the conclusion I came to.
