Hi all,

my EcoDiesel is due for a service and I'd like to do the super simple things myself, since at the dealership they are often ridiculously expensive for the amount of effort required.

Is there a good place to buy OEM (or better) fuel (diesel) and air filters for a decent price?

Thanks!

I have been using Doc Diesel for the oil filters. I still have a couple Mopar fuel filters, so haven't need to purchase them through DD, but have heard good feedback on both filters from them.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll look it up.

Quick question: regarding the manual stating "fuel filters" (plural), is there more than just the one under the truck near the tank?

I still get free oil changes, so oil will be done at the dealer.

While there is more than one fuel filter in the truck, only the one in the fuel/water separator requires periodic replacement or service.

Wix for the air filter. O'Reilly is one place that sells them.

I get the oil at Walmart, filters from Doc’s but haven’t used them yet. I also use WorldPartsDirect online mopar source if I can’t get what I need from Doc’s.

I just ordered fuel and air filters from Doc’s. I’m sure they are just fine and I really wasn’t willing to pay $300 for the fuel filter replacement … haven’t even checked what they want for air filters, I’ve cleaned mine a few times on the trip and just dropping in a new one is easy enough …
