I thought people wanted the Rubi and Mojave suspensions, not the Sport suspension
I was kind of confused when I first saw it too, but I think it's "sport tuned" rather than "the suspension from a Sport model". It seems to go hand-in-hand with the 20" wheels.

Them steps are in my future ... they did wonders to protect the doors from gravel and mud spray on the JL.
Those are steps from the Overland model, mine came with those too and I couldn’t wait to get rid of them. I sold them with hardware for 50 bucks, had maybe 2000 miles on them. Then I turned around and bought Mopar rock rails for 50 bucks. You might get lucky and find someone like me who just wants to trade out for what you have now.

I just bought a granite crystal Nighthawk. It had all the options I really cared about and I liked the look of the wheels and tires. Had a Tacoma before this. Liking it so far, my voice command button on the steering wheel isn’t working, but other than that it’s been good.

I don't know for a fact, but I think the new Uconnect 5 that is in these 2024's has considerably less functionality than previous models, and instead leans into CarPlay/Android Auto to do the heavy lifting.

For example, if my phone is connected to Android Auto, the "voice command" button will activate Google's voice search in the same way saying "OK Google" would, but if my phone is connected via Bluetooth (not android auto), then it does nothing. I'm assuming the same is true for CarPlay and iPhones/Siri. The green phone button on the steering wheel opens the Android Auto favorite contacts screen, or just goes to the number dial pad when not using Android Auto.

I don't have my 2020 JL to compare, but I believe the "voice command" button has a handful of very primitive functions like "send a text message" with a few pre-canned messages like "yes" or "be there soon". It was mostly worthless. I used the voice dial feature quite a bit, but the CarPlay/Android Auto integration should do that without problems. I think the only real downside to how it works now is that the navigation/maps seems to run all the time and sucks the battery dry very quickly, so.... you might just have to get into the habit of plugging in your phone when you get in if you want to use any of the voice stuff.

Thank you. I had a choice between the granite crystal and white. My wife talked me into the granite crystal.

Hi guys, new to the forum but not to jeeps. Picked up a night hawk a few days ago. First new jeep in a while and man it’s nice. It’s white. One thing that is in my todo list is to add in auto head lights. Anyone know how to go about this? I know I need a switch but also will need light sensor and harness plus reflash the bcm. Just not sure if anyone has messed with this in the past.

I'm not sure how important it is to you that the headlights turn on/off with the ambient light, but if you replace the switch with nothing else, I believe the headlights will just turn on/off with the ignition. So during the day, they're erm.. "DRL"... but you don't have to worry about forgetting to turn your headlights off when you shut off the ignition. The only real drawbacks to that scenario would be shortening the life of your headlight bulbs and you'll have to manually adjust your gauge backlight brightness between day and night, unless you enjoy that 12" tablet on your dash blinding you at night.

I would change out those halogen headlights either way, they are terrible! I went with some probably-not-very-legal LED headlight bulb replacements from Amazon with a decent cutoff and adjusted them conservatively. Much better illumination and no oncoming driver flashes.

What do you folks have on your payload stickers inside the Nighthawks? Manuals are saying 1150 but I'd like to know what's on the stickers "in real life". I just had a dealer send me a pic of a 2024 Willy's and it was 893 pounds payload! (four 200lb dudes= 800 pounds, so you could bring a total 93 pounds in the cab, in the otherwise empty bed, and on the trailer hitch, combined. "Truck shaped" is what it was... But Nighthawk seems great, and even the new ones on the 2025 Builder get you out the door for $45k in Fathom Blue with tow package. (Though will Stellantis factories be producing cars by then?)
