My windshield guy is having a hard time finding a replacement windshield. I have googled the part number, and keeps coming up as "unavailable." Any ideas? Any vendors checking in?

Maybe Jeep is keeping them all for new production, but I could sure use one . . .

Part: 68519032AA or the newer version 68519032AB

I just got a new windshield from Safelite on Saturday - are there specific sensors in the Mojave X that would prevent it from available?

Not sure what the problem was, but they showed me the Gladiator list--must be more than 12 options! They actually came out with one right away based on the VIN, but immediately noticed that it was lacking the radio antenna.

I haven't needed Jeep parts yet, but for my VW Vanagon and pickup I've gotten stuff from https://centralfloridaautosalvage.com or these guys.

68519032AB shows as available on the various mopar factory parts websites for $763. Doesn't mean it actually is available after placing the order but it isn't showing as unavailable. I thought shipping would be horrendous but it is only $72 (to my area code).

Thanks for trying! When I checked with the link I had a polite reply. "Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, we do not ship windshields. We apologize for any inconvenience as this is company policy. We recommend visiting your nearest Authorized MOPAR Dealership to purchase the windshield." Had the same reply from Mopargenuineparts.com too.

Windsheilds should be stocked for these vehicles in large numbers before they even release them, probably have broken ones even coming from the transport

I don’t know how the other ‘options’ are…

In the 2024 X…. Not only do you have the antennae in the windshield, but you also have the Adaptive Cruise radar camera behind it. My brain is foggy, but I thought it had to be a special windshield and the radar camera has to be calibrated after install.

Since you have Mojave X ... It will be Gorilla Glass with the incorporated antenna. You shouldn't have to worry about the camera. I say that because it stays in place of you were to lower the front window. I do not think it is attached like on other vehicles. Try Safelite for a replacement. Not the cheapest, but they may have one.

Safelite will still rape charge him for a ADAS calibration. I would recommend a independent glass shop if at all possible over Safelite just because of the way they overcharge for their ADAS part of the glass install.

I'm replacing mine through safelite on Monday. They told me the Owens Corning Gorilla Glass variant is on a 4 month backorder. So I went with the Jeep standard factory glass, which is supposedly thicker anyways and it still has the willys in the corner. This will be my 3rd windshield. Factory Gorilla lasted 1.5 years, replaced with Gorilla glass again, lasted 5 months...
New windshield goes in on the 10th, Exoshield gets applied on the 13th.

Thanks for all the suggestions! Kind of surprised that there is such a backorder on this specific windshield. Guess they are all going into new production.
