Gladiator HD: A heavy half ton with an enlarged gladiator type body on a modified Power Wagon chassis. There’s your hemi, 35s or 37s, axles. Solves for the market segment that really needs a full size truck (towing, cramped interior and more bed space). Bob the bed so it fits in a parking spot. It’s a power wagon you can take on trails.

And make it look like a J10.

And offer an AEV Prospector upfit.

So Stellantis announced some changes to a few positions in the Jeep Corporate offices. With that being said, some are saying there should be some changes made with the Gladiator. If you were the Director of Engineering and Design, what changes would you make. Or what do you think would make the Gladiator a better truck?
First and foremost bring back DIESEL
2) gear options for that diesel
3) cooling system upgrade fir the diesel
4) full size Gladiator truck with a big boy 6.7 diesel
5)a Hurricane option
6) more interior color options
7) basic bare bones model with off road ready options
8)a customer based board to be on the board you had to own a Jeep
9) did I mention DIESEL
10) new manual transmission with all engines
11) a v-8 options for the guy's that think they need one so everyone is happy 😊

Going back to the 1/2 ton J10 idea-

Are there any standalone Jeep dealers anymore?

It would be an interesting twist in marketing and on the sales floor to direct the off-road trim Ram buyers to a full size Jeep. After all, Jeep is known for off-road capability. I'm really likeing the idea of AEV Prospector in a 1/2 ton.

There are several recommendations
for a basic stripped down work truck.
This could be done by Stellantis
with no additional engineering or new parts.
In other words, no additional investment.

The target market would be huge:
The military, forest service,
parks & wildlife, construction,
farms and ranches.
It would also appeal to many enthusiasts
to use as is
or as a platform to modify.

5.7L Hemi and make LED lighting standard across all trim levels. The halogens are just not safe. Streamline costs and package the vehicle to allow MSRPs to drop to competitive levels. A naturally aspirated V6 Mojave X should never get to the 70K range.

Other than that, I'd boost marketing efforts along the lines of the Bill Murray Groundhog commercials. Everyone knows the Wrangler and Grand Cherokee. The Gladiator is kinda the young fun little brother. Have fun with its marketing. The product is there; it's a great truck. Celebrate it.

Well, my other Jeep is a JLUR 392 XR, so give me the 392 in a JT. They said for years it wouldn't fit or wouldn't work in a JL. Now they're saying the same thing for the JT. I say BS, just put the 392 in.
How do you like the 392 off road? I hated mine off road on the pavement it was awesome. Sold mine and bought another diesel

I see many want to see more torque and horsepower. I certainly agree with that. While I see many want to bring back the 5.7 liter V8 to accomplish that, I don’t believe that is the best way to go. The regulations on gasoline powered vehicles has created many new restrictions and challenges. I believe either a Hybrid 4xe option or an inline six is the way to go. The 3.6 liter definitely has to go, as it is certainly under powers the Gladiator. Additionally, I am not a fan of all electric vehicles, but I would much rather spend 75K on and an all electric Gladiator, than 100K on a Cybertruck.

Get rid of the 3.6, make a inline straight 6 torque monster. Offer both Manuel and auto in the transmission. Lower the seat and add a bit more tilt. Change price entering around 30,000 and ^ and it would be golden
