I've installed a number of different lifts over the years, including Teraflex, Metalcloak, Eibach, Rock Krawler, Rubicon Express, and others. Recently I've settled on Metalcloak for having the best quality of parts, easiest installation, and best functionality. I've currently got a Metalcloak 4 1/2" lift and 40s on my JL.
We bought my wife a Mojave last year as her daily driver. It came from the dealership with a Mopar lift and 35" Nitto Trail Grapplers. It was a sharp looking Gladiator. Shortly after bringing it home I noticed something I hadn't had happen on the short test drive. The Stock Mojave shocks topped out loudly on even small speed bumps or other irregularities in the road. I was glad the dealership had left the stock Fox bypass shocks on the Mojave because they are better shocks than anything the dealership would have replaced them with. But I was puzzled that they had not added shock extension brackets to keep them from topping out even while still on pavement. Probably because they were not part of a Mopar lift and the mechanic didn't know better, or care anyway. Then I got to really looking at the "Mopar lift". I'm sorry, but the Mopar lift is the most half assed suspension lift I've ever used. The front axle was 5/8" too far to the left and the rear axle was 3/8" too far to the right. It had a definite case of the wanders while on the highway, compared to my JL, even though it had the Mopar lift lower control arms on it. And the shocks topped out.
Not the end of the world really, because all of that is easily correctable. A Metalcloak front and rear track bar, Metalcloak front lower control arms, and Teraflex shock extension brackets fixed the problem. It drives like it should now.
