You have the same dash wiring part number as posted above, 68616255AC

To be clear there is no current solution or add on harness. What I think can come of this if anyone wants to be the guinea pig is to build their own harness starting with the Switch Pigtail part number 68535908AA

Pin Information
CavCircuitGaugeColorFunction
1E120.35OGLAMP DRIVER
2P8060.35GN110/220 VAC INVERTER STATUS
3P8030.35GNON/OFF SWITCH SIGNAL
7P8040.35GNGROUND
8Z9110.35BKGROUND

These circuits need to be routed as follows

Now before doing so what would be interesting is if someone can check these BCM cavities to confirm they are empty, If not the plot thickens

BCM? The pin holes on the switch pigtail plug?

@NULL POINTER @YGBSM Thank you both for providing your VIN's.

Your builds are the same in that they are equipped with an inverter but no dash connector. Here is the dash harness details which both show the same part numbers used

I now need to find the other scenarios to see if this differs

Benny, thanks for researching this. Much appreciated. I guess I will wait to see if there is a solution and if not, I will go the direction of @ShadowsPapa and others. Still hoping for an OEM solution, though.

So, would this wiring harness we are making, plug into the inverter itself or somewhere else? I found this plug just taped up inside the cavity behind the speaker/inverter.

I do not know what this connector in your pic is, Is this located at the very corner near the A Pillar?

if you take off panel under steering column, then look up and to the left. Behind the left lower speaker. You'll see it there. That silver piece in pic might be the inverter... Which that silver piece is directly behind the speaker.

Where can we find proper parts/wiring diagrams for looking at these components?

Connector for a MOPAR trailer brake controller?

So the 24' + has the opening on the dash to install the rear bed plug switch cut out and can also have an inverter but not have the plug for the dash switch? What fool did this at Mopar. I had to change my dash plastic to the one that had the opening to install the bed switch but at least they left the wire for.

I did the install on my 23' and it took some searching for that wire. I have to say the trailer brake controller was more of pain though to do. I don't have any trailer with brakes yet but wanted to be ready in case I pull one.

Curious where you found the wire, and did you have to pull the dash apart and remove the speaker to find it? Thanks.

I did pull the dash apart but not the speaker in my case. I found it and un tapped. I was carful and left no marks. I used a plastic interior tools and micro fiber towels In case I had to wedge pry. I made sure to take my time. Masking tape can also help to nut scratch leather and knobs.

I used this video and he does say in some cases you have to remove the speaker.

At 2:30 ish he starts to show the plug. This might help you find it way back there and you can see what it looks like.

I’m taking the easy way out. I’m going keep my bluetti power pack in the back anyway. I can grab it and take it closer to where I might need power, or I can just plug in the inflator right at the tailgate and inflate the paddle board as needed. I’m putting in LED lights under the softopper later today so I will have task lighting in the bed. The Datin Fab rack is at the powder coating shop this week, it goes on next month. I’m still torn about storage, and I have seen some great ideas right here, with Milwaukee packout, or similar. I will post pictures when I get it figured out 🤣

Carmine, Do you want to check for this or are you pretty sure it's not present?

- Benny
Good morning Benny. I might remove the headlight switch again and try to poke around in there with a mirror. The space is too small for me to get a pinky back behind there, and I think it is too small to get a bore scope in there. Maybe I will take another look in the next few days but I am not going to go to all the effort to remove the speaker unless I know for certain that the needed pigtail is back there somewhere.

I will leave that to someone who wants to replace the knee panel speakers in their Gladiator.

The only video I have seen for a 2024+ so far is the one with the guy with all the rings on his finger and he was replacing the speaker in a JLU and was not looking for the pigtail. Also, I don't think the 2024 in the video has the inverter. I linked it because it is the best video I've found for the 2024+ dash and speaker pod removal. Bing Videos

Hi Carmine,
I understand it's not the easiest thing to check for. We appreciate your efforts.

So, not sure if this had been addressed yet. Is it at all a possibility for these models without the wire harness for the dash switch. For the bed outlet to just be powered on the whole time with just a setting change with a Jscan or similiar device? I wonder that because the outlet behind the center console is constantly powered. No on/off switch for activating it.

That is my last ditch hope for getting the OEM bed outlet powered due to it seemingly not having that wires harness behind the dash. I could do a more thorough disassembly of the dash, but really not motivated to.
