Those grills would be even better with some of those little orange lights that hard core truck bros put on their grills. It's how you know a real truck bro from a poser truck bro.

The styling of our previous angry grille has sparked some debates on the forum.

https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/...d-with-hooke-road-mad-max-front-bumper.82325/

However, our actual intention was to modify the Jeep to make it look more technologically advanced and pair it with a rather fierce appearance. What do you guys think of the above three designs?
Honestly, remove all of the angled detail from around the headlights. No angry eyes whatsoever. Use the extended space between the headlights to house a 24" single row light bar. Make the inner grille a separate piece and sell the different styles that can interchange separately. Have more options than variations of the bane mask. For instance, an actual molded american flag would be cool and different or something that mimics the metal 12 slat grille in a '69 Gladiator complete with the Jeep badge and the pie plates would look killer in a JT.

Let me show you some pics. I know some of you won't like it. However, it does protect your Jeep very well. Everyone has different aesthetic preferences. We don't have to be limited to just this one option.

Judging by the responses and my own opinions, you are asking in the wrong place. This apparently isn't the angry grille crowd (or mad max grille crowd), it is the anti angry grille crowd.

A long while back when I was a kid my family bought and remodeled an old house/log cabin and made it look very rustic instead of using drywall everywhere. After we were done someone came by to visit and, obviously not agreeing with the chosen aesthetic, said "if that's the look you were going for you did a great job". So... if you were going for a Mad Max look with these grilles, they look good. My favorite is A-1. The thicker slats in the grille look tougher and fit the rest of the design the best.

From a functional point of view, living in Canada, those headlight recesses look they'd catch even more snow than the factory headlight recesses. And with LED Lighting, it does not melt. Otherwise, I don't mind the look too much. I would like fog lights (operated as per factory switches) and a built in light bar that is operated independently from the other lights via the AUX switches or something like the VOSwitch.

Look I'm glad accessories are out there to satisfy any and all tastes - even if the taste is completely wrong. That said, these things are beyond tacky.

Something not addressed here but I feel is valid:

If you run into something, relatively hard, with a steel bumper, the bumper may deflect and you then have to replace it and go about your day.

If someone ran one of these on their trucks, ran into something, you've now extended that deflection up and into the grille area. . . .so if the grille pushes back you've now mucked up the fenders AND the hood. All of which are not cheap to replace.
