added weight at the absolute worst place available for center of gravity 🤔
I get what you are trying to say, though I'm pretty sure not everyone driving a jeep crawls with it nor are they worried about center of gravity. This isn't a mod I would be doing, it is however very cool given the options out there. Would be better as a pop up for venting heat and such.

from what I experienced driving the Dalton, the mosquitoes in the Brooks Range are an epic calamity of the very highest order. By the time you cross the Brooks and get to the North Slope, they’re gone. Not much can live all the way up there but lichens

I gave it a shot, and so far, I like the openness it creates. It's louder than my lizard-skinned Mopar deadened freedom panels, but not as loud as a Sunrider or the soft top. It takes some getting used to always having overhead sunlight. It might just be a Minnesota thing.. It doesn't seem as tinted as a Tesla or other contemporary skyview roof vehicles.

It looks OEM or better, the quality, fit and finish is incredible. The price is up there but so is the delivered quality. I can't believe they are carrying inventory and shipping in just a few days from order.

Definitely keep us posted. For that price, I would expect a good air and water tight seal.

Thanks for developing another great product for us. Love it and would be buying it, except I have 2 kiddos entering HS band which apparently going to cost me $3,000+/per kid. Which equals < money for jeep stuff. Sad emoji! Very sad.........

I am disappointed in the wind noise at the leading edge. Installing the Sky365 makes me appreciate the freedom panels. I am also very surprised they didn't use heat rejection tint in the glass, it's much more of a greenhouse than I've experienced with other OEM skyroofs.

I considered returning the roof, but at a 20% restocking fee + return shipping, I will keep it and install heat-rejecting tint. If the noise gets to me, I'll sell it.

It's a bummer about the lack of heat rejection.

Which heat rejection film are you considering?

How much noise would you say increased over the factory hard top?

hello everyone, just wanted to give an update on my sky365 top. I did contact the company and have been working with them to see if we could figure this out. After sending them photos of all my rubber moldings and photos of their tops they just sent me some rubber gasket materials to put on the top itself to see if this fixes the issues with leaks and air noise. I just received them yesterday and will be installing them over the weekend so i will keep everyone updated.

I’ve had mine on for a few weeks, and no new noises or leaks. Hopefully they get it resolved for you.
It does change the feeling of openness in the cabin. It’s a huge benefit for the PNW, but on the couple of days it’s been hot I could see why it would be a broiler in the south. It’s going to be in rotation for me w/ being on 6 months, and the Sunrider on for the other 6.

Well I caved and bought one, have had it on for a week. So far I really like it. We have had some hot and humid days 90+ here in MN and I don't feel like the heat is any more or less than the freedom panels. I also don't feel like the noise is any more than the freedom panels, maybe a bit less in my experience but no car wash yet. Definitely less creaking/ squeaking while driving from the top, likely due to the solid piece that goes from side to side vs the freedom panels split.
The only cons really so far is I don't think the matte black matches the black factory top very well but it could be just the 5 year sun fade on my top that is the difference but the texture is also different. Less noticeable next to the factory top than a sunrider though that is for sure. Also the sticker is on there pretty good. I get wanting to brand it but it sticks out like a sore thumb. Ive tried scraping it with a plastic scraper and tried heating it up but no luck so for now I will just ignore it. The alignment of the rain gutters with the factory top is slightly off but I feel like it is something very few would notice.
I don't feel like the weight is that much more than the freedom panels, I meant to weigh it all as it was a concern for some on here but forgot in my excitement when installing it last week. If someone is curious about the weight difference I can always measure it for you. As of right now I don't see a need for a sunshade and though it would be nice to vent out of it somehow it is so far not necessary. My luck in v2.0 they will include that lol.
Driving with the windows down is very similar to the having the freedom panels removed, in my experience not a lot of wind comes in from those as it is mostly from the door windows but you get the light. This product mimics that experience very well and more conveniently imo. Packaged well with no damage in shipping, fit and finish is good but for the price? Only you can decide if it is worth it for you. It checked enough boxes for me to justify the cost.
