Yeah. Pretty much my same reasoning. I like the on road softness of the stock coils, and have heard the Mopar coils are similar. But the swaying back and forth is getting real old!
I did an AEV 2" spacer lift on the wife's JL and it was ok. Just looking to try a different route this time.
Thanks
Call Teraflex or Metalcloak. Amazing people and they’ll get you sorted. They have everything you’d want. And if you want drop brackets, theirs are laser cut, bent, and hand welded, as opposed to stamped.

Or call both of them. I’ve got suspension parts from both companies on mine. But either can get you setup from mild to wild.

For steering I’d call Steersmarts all day long. Ask for Chris Doyle. He’s amazing. He won’t just sell you something. He’ll make sure you get what you need, not more, not less. If you want something that isn’t appropriate for the rest of your build, he’ll talk you out of it with good supporting reasons.

I have the tereflex one . It didn’t make sense to put one on until the 4x4 shop let me know it’s needed for full droop not when the Jeep is sitting still .

It’s less for slow off roading than interstate driving. High speeds with a bad angle aren’t great for the driveshaft, transfer case output, or pinion.

Yeah, was gonna buy the Rockjock but the AEV sounds better allowing one to adjust the drop...have no clue how much the 2" Mopar lift will require the driveshaft to drop and then align.

In my opinion you’re overthinking this. Just put a roughly 1” spacer in and you’re good for up to a 6” lift. You won’t hurt a single thing with that spacer on a 2” lift whatsoever. It’s not changing enough to create harm.

So get the RockJock?
Rock jock, Dana Spicer (from 4WP gets a decent price), Adam’s, etc. hell, go to a local machine shop and get a small piece of solid aluminum and drill two holes in it. Write your name on it and start selling them. It’s a really simple part. It’s a block of metal with two oblong holes in it. Then buy two longer bolts and some blue loctite. 45ft lbs of torque.

Exactly. There's not enough of an angle change on a Mopar lift to need a carrier bearing spacer. These are CV joint driveshafts.

The pinion angle is not even that bad. But Mopar does include LCAs to get the pinion back where it needs to be though. And any more lift than that would require adjustable control arms.

The track bar was a good move though. Keep that axle centered.

I have been running a 3.5" front / 2" rear kit on mine, and I blew out the bearings on the rear diff running a stock driveshaft w/out a bearing spacer.. probably about 20k miles before the pitting on the races sounded like rocks in a box.

Got the bearings replaced and immediately installed the drop spacer. Obviously, not the same as a 2" lift, but the rockjock spacer is only 80 bucks, and anyone with a drill press could make one out of bar stock for much cheaper.. Id go ahead and put one on anyways, its cheap insurance.
