I know this topic has been covered in different aspects and in other threads, but none of them cover a question I’ve had for awhile. I’m thinking adding the teraflex 1.5 spacer up front to level out my gladiator with the 2” mopar lift (stupid front rake) My jeep rides and steers straight as an arrow and was wondering if anyone has any experience with this setup, mainly leaving mopar LCA or if anyone added length using aftermarket LCA’s. My big thing is “if it’s not broke, don’t fix it” so I don’t want to throw off any pinion or caster angles which would mess up my “perfect” steering. Just wondering what peoples input may be.

Well, the Mopar 2" lift is more like 3" on a Sport. On my Sport I ended up with 3.25" in front and 2.5" in the rear. That took care of some of the rake and it drives great. No spacers so I can't answer that part of your question. I prefer a slight rake over the nose up look personally.

If you don't know, the Mopar lift comes with slightly extended LCAs.

If you are just going for looks, go for it. If you are offroading on fairly rough trails, get a pair of 3.5 inch coils and replace the front springs...

Either way, you may need shock extenders, or new (longer) shocks up front.

Thanks guys. I have the teraflex 1.5 spacer kit (1” for rear) on the girlfriends wrangler that Ill be removing. I was contemplating moving the 1” spacer to the front of mine with the already installed mopar lift. I hate doing things half assed and would like to go the route of throwing longer springs in up front…. Which now leads to the next question. The mopar lift on the sport ends up being bigger than the stated 2”. Is a 3.5” spring still sufficient? And as @cb4017 mentioned about the molars LCA. I know molars are “supposed to be longer, but when I initially installed the mopar lift roughly a year and a half ago, I don’t think there was any difference in measurement if I remember correctly. Just things I think about before I decide which route to go

Mopar LCAs are only .25” longer than stock. You will need more than that or correction brackets for the amount of lift you will have.

Go the brackets. The ride will be better and the caster will be better and they cost less, JKS are what I have..

You think they're still weighing their options?
