All Walmarts have cameras in the parking lot. Why don't you make the other guy pay for it?
Have you ever tried to ask the Wally World “security team “ 🙄 for video footage of their parking lot? All I can say is they were very uncooperative when the footage request came up. My wife had a vehicle that was damaged in a Walmart lot and they (once finding out the purpose of our introduction) were quick to try and tell us that there was nothing they could do for us. Now I may have had been dealing with a donut eating “Paul Blart” but they had zero interest in helping us out. This was definitely several years ago but I haven’t seen much change in that store since.

I bet the black plastic pins you're talking about are the plastic rivets holding the liner to the flare and yes, you can get them.

The only way I’ve found that they’ll look up and get the footage is for the police. Then getting the police to do anything about your problem is a whole other adventure in itself.
My son-in-law had a truck stolen at Wally World. They gave the footage to the police…they knew who stole the truck and did nothing.

Probably easier to just remove the flare and liner as an assembly.

I’ll bet that’s it. The service advisor told me that they are supposed to go by some type of work guideline. I can’t remember what he said. But he said that things that can be fixed are often just replaced.
I just thought everyone would get a kick out of it. Sorry I posted in the wrong place.

At least with the fronts, you remove bolts (5) and one black body clip from the liner. Then gently lift up and pull the entire flare off with the liner attached. It takes all of five minutes. You usually break at least 5 or 6 of the white clips people have linked. Replace them on the fender and put it back.

Yep, I did see some black plastic broken between the body and fender.

As long as the body is ok as you said, it shouldn’t be bad to get it reattached after you get it removed. But if it were me, I’d try to do that without separating the flare from the liner.

Got it back from the dealership. They gave me the old fender. The plastic that holds the clips in place was broken completely off. It had cracked the fender and sheared two of the three alignment pins. There was no way to attach the fender back to the body without some fancy plastic welding. A good body guy could have done it for less, but I don't have to look at the big crack in the fender.

You have any pictures of the cracked fender?
