OK, so with my downtime from getting snipped I'm thinking about the trip and the guys I normally wheel with. I'm preparing recovery gear and tools to bring along for the trip. The guys I normally wheel with we divide and conquer in regards to cross loading recovery gear and tools; in other words everyone brings stuff, but prevent redundancy to maximize our load and hopefully having everything we could ever need in the event presents itself.

So for recovery, I have Warn EVO VR10 with syn line, 50ft snatch rope, several syn shackles, extra steel D ring and factor 55 hitch mount.

Tools, I was going to bring my Milwaukee M18 1/2 impact, Milwaukee pack out with sockets from 6-24mm, adapters, 1/4 - 1/2 ratchets, vise grips, wrenches for the big items 13,15,17,18,19,21,22,24. Zip ties, various misc Grade 8 spare hardware, spare wire/butt connectors, wire cutter/crimpers.

I come from the old Boy Scout adage........be prepared OR my MIL background.....better to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it.

Lets brainstorm and I can bring/buy more if needed.....but yall that are locked are also like minded. So I'm sure we'll be set up for success

I think my new schedule is to hit the MD trail on Labor Day weekend. Be on the trail when it opens, run it, get lunch in Deep Creek and then 3 hours back home

Ugh stoopid internet lol. Ill have to go use my 15% off tomorrow now
Damn it now i need that ...
and gonna pick up a new tree strap while there (I've been borrowing my buggy's )
I have a hand saw, axe and a yellow version of the sawzall and impact extra battery's, Icon magnet lights. There is a lowes, auto zone and everything else 30 mins away from camp. so a band aid from the trail back to camp can be done.

Should we come up with an itinerary of sorts, or just wing it?

I hear yeah on all that especially the house, last month lost the well pump got that fixed 3k later, (but did pressure tank myself) and Yesterday after I just get done rebuilding the shower valve in the master bath, sit on the couch, I hear a loud bang and the floor shook ... The torsion spring on the garage door snapped scared the shit out of me though
