Do not forget the retainer clips. Those can be picked up for cheap on Amazon if you do not want to pay the asking price for the MOPAR ones.

Why not just leave it off? I removed mine months ago when it got brittle, no issues.

I even put new ones on my classic cars.

If the one in my Jeep goes south, it will get replaced.
Some things I wouldn't, but some things yes, will get replaced.

That doesn't look bad. However, I have bad luck with most spray on options

As for leaving it, it looks like a Halloween display with stuff hanging from the hood

I have had mine removed for over a year on my diesel.... No issues

I have run into this before with oversized items that shipping gets stupids. Sometime even if paying full retail, cheaper to just order and pickup through the local dealer.

And there are plenty of dealers that don’t charge full retail. It helps to make nice with the parts department people. Buy a hat every once in a while when you’re there for a bolt.
