Make another one that leaves the space open between the top of the wheel well and bed floor and I bet you'll get some takers. Blocking off the front 12" (?) or so of the bed top to bottom makes it pretty much impossible to haul standard length lumber in a bed that is already borderline for doing so.

Great idea! If it was a little lower so camper shell clamps at the front could fit it would make a great seat and storage bin inside something like a GFC or Super Pacific.

Anything small that fits along the side in a corner - big enough to hold straps, shackles, pins ratchet straps and such? I've got more than will fit behind and under the seats.

Why is this tool box designed as a two piece unit? It would seem that the division in the center would limit the ability to store longer length items.

Why is this tool box designed as a two piece unit? It would seem that the division in the center would limit the ability to store longer length items.

My guess, probably ships cheaper as two packages than one oversize package.
