Sorry, guys, I’m way behind the group on updates. I’ve been up every day at 5;30 doing school and the 4th of July week & weekend was full on firefighting/EMS busy time. My Gladiator has all the same recovery gear and a high lift. Hopefully we don’t need anything but always good to be prepared.

0530 ... late sleepers eh ... my post service job NH DOT, has me in at 0400... yep after I get out i'm never gonna work for the .gov, morning, weekends, or in a locked room with lots of screens...... opps but at least I only work 4 days a week

Well John in the Woods is out but 40x40 is in so we have a guy from ME, a guy from NH, a guy from MD, two Gentlemen from PA , and a guy from Georgia . Still at six guys looks like, guess we could check with the maybes.
Wife and I are heading up Thursday 24th figure 7.5-8 hour drive towing camper.
“40x40” , John from Georgia wins the prize for longest drive., unless the guy from CA jumps in!

Guys driving a long way need a meetup place , possibly Dolly Coop as some are staying there, or where ever , we should have some kind of plan to start with then go from there….Jack

I'm reaching out to all of my contacts to try and get a new steering box......my dealer has been really good to me with my JTM being modified as it is, but they said no dice for warranty work/replacement.

I finally got my 11/16" drill bit and reamer today........so after this conference call I'm on I'm off to my garage and see what I can get diagnose, fix or maybe fuck up more LOL

I have 9 days to get this shit settled. I'm blacklisted on the calendar at work, so that will not be an issue. Making it safe and ready to wheel is the name of the game now.

Good luck and hoping for the best. My buddy who was originally going to attend has had to bail because of a failed hip replacement requiring revision. Too painful to sit in the truck for this event.

Hope you can find a solution. My buddy had to back out with a botched hip surgery keeping him from being able to endure any prolonged sitting in a Jeep. It’s looking like a Sunday departure for me as EMT school is my prison for the next four months.

looks like Jericho trail Sat as thats when Glen beck is there MT Washington Sunday, I'm there Thursday we could do a Jericho prerun Friday? who is showing up Thursday would love to get out that night somewhere or a campsite gathering

Don't you have a perfectly good steering box in that JL right there in the Drive way? I mean you could just "borrow " it ...... HAHAHA!

Jeremy is your steering box bad ? Are you just trying to get ahead of it and change it out? My bet would be that it is some thing else and brings you have not posted lately you are on it and test driving I hope! I am heading up Thursday but it is a drive and ore running is cheating and night she Ed long something I don’t do or am set up for either with old man eyes anyway. Wife and dogs are along snd I am sure we will be tired after the drive.
I did just finish up my Next Centure full belly skid, not sure I will get the Mojave X springs in front to support Mopar bumper cinched Dusk battery weight, did not sage but feel it a little bit when bouncing on beach sand into bump stops then heavy with four people in Jeep…….Jack
Oh yeah another old man downer is I got a cow valve in my heart back in 2017 , and booze of any kind is absolute no no , but don’t mind hanging out, I’m an asshole sober.
