Music Favorites Issue

2023 Mojave with 8.4 Screen and Sirius subscription. For the past few days the favorite song notice pops up but when I touch the screen it says no favorites playing. After stopping the engine and restarting they sometimes show up. Anyone know whether this is a Sirius or radio problem?

Seemingly no rhyme or reason to it. I can start up and favorites show up. Then 10-15 minutes later the notice pops up but no favorites show on the list. If I happen to find known favorite I'll jump to the browse button to see if it's on the list but nothing there.

Mine just started doing this recently too. I believe it hears/identifies a short clip of your singer on a commercial or channel intro (like the stuff they play between songs on the 80s channel) and it thinks one of your favorites is playing on that other channel. I've noticed that these "phantom favorite notifications" don't last as long as the real notifications. Anyway, just my idea, but it does seem recent, maybe due to some update somewhere. Real notifications last longer (perhaps 15 seconds), where the fake notifications are very short (perhaps 5 seconds).

22 Mojave here. "Favorite Artists" worked flawlessly from new up until a couple weeks ago. Now I MIGHT catch it showing the favorite at first, after 5-10 minutes, it tells me nothing's on the air.

Mine is still intermittent. I also checked when a known favorite is playing I browse over to Favorites and nothing is there.

Ditto as well. Just started a few weeks ago. Occasionally I’ll get a full ride where the notifications work and the favorites list shows songs. One of the web browser AI bots suggested it could be related to the USB cable between the phone (I’ve got an iPhone 15) and the Jeep. Gonna try getting a new cable and see if that works. If not, off to the dealership.

My issue has nothing to do with an external source like USB/phone. I get it while listening to the Sirius radio.

Same here. It’s while plugged into the radio and using Car Play and Sirius. I forgot if I’ve tried just using the radio completely disconnected from the phone. Again, it was just a rando suggestion from the search on the web browser. Hoping the dealer can fix it.

Appreciate if you could post the dealer's findings. The standard dealer BS out here is "You need to leave it two or three days for us to investigate". Not worth my time at this point.

I'm having the same problem on a 2025 Nighthawk. Uconnect is junk as far as I am concerned. I have spoken with a local stereo shop and was told that have had many customers coming in to have the uconnect unit removed and replaced by something that works. I am thinking that I will do the same.

Having the same issue on our '22 Mojave. Just stopped working a few weeks ago, and nothing seems to fix it. Anyone found a solution yet?

No fix that I've found. Mine works occasionally then drops out.

Hello to all! I just wanted to share that this issue is not with unconnect or does it have anything to do with your Jeep. I traded in a 2024 Bronco Badlands on my Gladiator and it did the exact same thing!

I called Sirius when it kept doing it ( Bronco) and they did a reset or something like that...not sure of the terminology. After several attempts it worked. All was well with my favorites, but only for about a week!

I have not called them yet on the Gladiator, but I am sure that the problem is not related to your Jeep, as the issue was exactly the same on the Bronco. Calling Sirius XM should help.

Probably a good starting point would be to disconnect both batteries leave unhooked for 30min-1 hour .
Or you can try pushing in and holding the volume and the tuner buttons ( at the identical time and hold in and count between 15-20 seconds ( I always do 17) then release and radio head will reset itself . Sometimes this will fix it .
