Probably a good starting point would be to disconnect both batteries leave unhooked for 30min-1 hour .
Or you can try pushing in and holding the volume and the tuner buttons ( at the identical time and hold in and count between 15-20 seconds ( I always do 17) then release and radio head will reset itself . Sometimes this will fix it .
Took my 22 Mojave to the dealer. The service writer did that, and it worked....for about 10 minutes. Now it's back to it's old tricks...

Hello to all! I just wanted to share that this issue is not with unconnect or does it have anything to do with your Jeep. I traded in a 2024 Bronco Badlands on my Gladiator and it did the exact same thing!

I called Sirius when it kept doing it ( Bronco) and they did a reset or something like that...not sure of the terminology. After several attempts it worked. All was well with my favorites, but only for about a week!

I have not called them yet on the Gladiator, but I am sure that the problem is not related to your Jeep, as the issue was exactly the same on the Bronco. Calling Sirius XM should help.
Did they "reset" YOUR account? I'm guessing you had your subscriber number, and they reset you. Resetting all of Sirius might ruffle some feathers

Yes, my account on my Bronco. Point being is that I had the same issue on my 2024 Bronco and after my call to Sirius XM and there reset, it works. So, I don't think that it is a Jeep or Uconnect thing.

Also, until about 60-90 days ago, I never experienced this on any of my Ford or Jeep vehicles. I have had many!

Did the issue return? If so, after how long?

Yes, it did return after a few weeks. I never called them back, as I traded it in on the Gladiator. Ironically, I was tickled that the "favorite's" worked on the Gladiator. Well, it was short lived. The same thing started on the Gladiator after just a few days. I have not called them yet. Last time I was on the phone for over 20 minutes with someone with an accent that I could barely understand.

Try a “soft reset”, hold the power/volume button and tune button down at the same time for approximately 20 seconds. When you let go it will conduct a soft reset. This solved the problem for me and will not affect any of your current settings.

As soon as you hold the Power button down the radio shuts off. Doesn't matter whether you hold the Tune button down first then push the Power button. Does it reset with the radio off?
Update: I actually tried this first on my wife's 2018 Compass with UConnect 8.4 radio. It has been behaving the same as my JTM radio. Apparently, although the radio is similar the software is not. I did try it on my JTM radio and it worked. For a while. On the next start it was back to the same behavior. I reset it again and will see how it goes today.

Update 2- not working after the second reset. Thanks anyway for the suggestion
