And yet while in Florida, ducked 3 times in a week. None of the ducks on my wife's JLU were bought.
Maybe some do, but some don't.

my parent live in FL ducks all over their 21 JL ... I don't get it, but its their thing .... went on vaca visited the statue of liberty kids bought them a liberty duck

It’s still August and the temps are already like late September/October weather.
We’re usually in the mid 90’s in August and it’s been mid 70’s.

Brrr…. It’s crazy….. I’m 55 here. Even for PA’s strange weather habits, this year’s been totally weird.

For as short as the summer was….or seemed to be… I hope you got some good splashing time in!!

I've been in the pool one time this year. That was to put the steps in. The next time I'll be in the pool is to take the steps out. And close the pool.

Yep was 48F here . And for the reasons your stating is why I no longer have a pool. It was nothing but additional work for me after work and no one wanted to help clean or maintain it so I emptied it and chopped it to bits. Pool problem solved.

We hit spring with highs not seen in years - into the 90s right away, no easing into it, and now we're leaving summer faster than ever before with chilly mornings in August that are usually hot - thus the term "hot August nights".
Crazy, mixed up, up-side-down year.

We are only expecting a high of 88 today, it was 76 this morning when I came into work.

So for some clarity here, I am not a duck fan, but my wife is.
So, we have ducks.

I have a couple that I think are cool, (3D printed red with horns, and a red zombie I got at EJS) others are in a bag for the wife to distribute.

Some folks will buy a bunch of ducks to keep on the dash in case they see a jeep they like.
