Finally able to install the YJ Grill from Unofficially Use Only on the Gladiator. Can’t wait until the bumper ships, hopefully later this month, to complete the look.

That’s a big ole negative on the leaf springs. Nostalgia is great, except when it comes to ride comfort.

I chose just a basic 5x7 LED, without a DRL, from Amazon. They did require an Oracle adapter for them to wire up.

I think the square lights actually look more fitting on the Gladiator than the round lights. I really like it! Looks factory!

You've got at least 100 too many hp and 2.5x too many transmission gears too. Nostalgia for the worst of all wrangler/CJ models?

My cousin and his son
with their "new" YJ
purchased in 2015
on my Jeep Test Hill,
a very steep, washed out, sandy lane
along a fence line.

Note the unmistakable
rectangular headlights.

Perhaps the greatest weakness of the YJ
was the front axle vacuum disconnect
which we then knew had failed on this one.
Then I walked back to get the tractor.

As a gag, I ordered a Quadratec catalog
to give to my cousin.
But I made the mistake of reading it.
That is when I bought my '98 Sahara TJ.

Undeterred, and not to be outdone,
my cousin subsequently purchased
a 2016 Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock.

Which now belongs to my daughter.
Keeping it in the family.

Gaaaarosss they looked bad in the 80's and they haven't improved any .
