Im really enjoying a better sounding engine, better shifting transmission and all of the upgraded tech! I enjoyed my Mojave but really love the newer Rubicon! My Mojave was built in Dec of 2020 so I was starting to wonder if issues were a given. This is my first Rubicon in my long history of Jeep ownership. Now that Ive owned both Mojave and Rubicon, I don't really like one over the other as far as the models are concerned but they are noticeably different for sure. Its just nice having brand new again ( first time in many years).

If I had a 2021 Mojave, I'd still have a 2021 Mojave. With little or no reason to upgrade, I'd be enjoying no payment. I can't wait until I have a 2024 Mojave with no payment. The best Jeep is the one that's paid off.

First, The Faricy Boys are great to work with. I've been a customer there since 2003. I currently have a 2021 Mojave which I ordered after test driving a Mojave, Rubicon and Sport S with the Max Tow package. As a daily driver and light trail rig, the Mojave was the clear choice. Unfortunately, as with most vehicles built during COVID, it has a few electronic gremlins and the top end of the engine was rebuilt at 42,000 miles. I am now at 96,000 and so far so good. Next year my Mojave will probably leave for college with my daughter. I'm interested in how your Rubicon performs as I will either replace my Mojave with a JT Rubicon or a Power Wagon. The advantage to the Power Wagon is size and towing capacity as I also have a built 2002 TJ that I wheel hard, but I also like overlanding. The Rubicon handles the weight of an overlander better than the Mojave and the rumor is the JT will get a V8 soon 😀

Tell us more about the 'better sounding engine'.....
My 21's engine was noisy and whiny upon acceleration. With the windows down it almost sounded like there was an exhaust leak or maybe engine pre-ignition but neither were true upon further investigation. Also the trans would be very slow to shift and would sometimes make me wonder if it was going to shift at all. The 25 Rubi doesnt have any of these issues. Smooth quiet engine and smooth shifting trans.

Yeah Faricy is great, Ive purchased a lot from them over the years. Ohhh yes Power wagons are nice! Ive had a lot of Rams too, but I would never get another Ram with a Hemi. I got really tired of the exhaust manifold warp, pop bolts issue. If you get a PowerWagon I assume you are going for the diesel?

The Power Wagon is only offered with the 6.4l Hemi. Ram does make a 2500 Rebel which you can get with the 6.7l Cummins which is similar to the Power Wagon minus the front locker, winch and super flexy suspension.

It appears a space ship has landed on your jeep
Thanks, I haven't laughed that hard in a while 😆 🤣 😂 I have mentioned I have a 17 year old who plans to do a geology undergraduate and paleontology post graduate degrees and will need a vehicle she can drive to dig sites and explore in. So no space ship 😉

Retired. Beach bum.
I will admit this 3.6 V6 sounds better than the 3.6 V6 I had in my last two 2016/2019 Colorado 4x4’s. Especially with the windows down. But doesn’t have the same power, the GM V6 has a stronger top end, that reflects the extra 30+ rated hp peak of 308. Same low end tq, however I towed a lot with the 2019, like at a Cat Scale certified 10,700 lbs CGVW, that equals almost 6,000 lbs trailer. That I sold because towing with the Gladiator, of course without Max Tow and planning to sell anyways. The two times I did tow was not pleasant.

It's the exact same engine and transmission. At four years old anything you stepped into new was going to be a difference.
