Probably not a common question, but figured I'd ask. I have a bright white Rubicon JT, however it currently has the factory black plastic fenders. I want the OEM color matched look (not aftermarket), and I prefer the High Altitude fender over the painted Rubicon fender because the color match covers the entire fender. I know the High Altitude fender is shorter than the Rubicon which is fine for my setup as I am lifted 2.5 inches. And I know I'll most likely need all 4 fenders plus the plastic liners. Will this configuration work? My next step would be to look for high altitude fenders for sale in the marketplace. Thanks in advance.

As far as I know it should. You can swap high line fenders onto those without, so I don't see why it wouldn't work the other way around.

I would ask this though, do you see any off road use? Even with RokBlok flaps my black plastic fenders take a serious beating from dirt and rocks. I'm rather glad I don't have painted rears because of it.

Yeah, it will. But it would look weird and would be a downgrade. Why not get yours painted?

Thanks for the input. I'm considering all options - can the black plastic fenders be painted to be a quality color match?

They absolutely can. But it also depends on the quality of the paint shop you use.
