Yes, the Suma Performance Side View Mirrors are terrific.

I installed my Suma Performance Mirrors about two years ago.... I have driven well over 35,000 mi. with them installed. --Absolutely terrific they are! And YES, they have held up well... Today, they still look as new..... One of my most favorite adds to my JL... Less side view mirror glare and a far far wider field of side view mirror vision.

IF your vehicles side windows are heavily tinted or you are one that wears decent polarized sun glasses you are undoubtedly, best not to go with the "Blue" Suma Performance side mirrors (combo equals too dark) .... opt to go with the Suma Performance side view mirror , non blue offering.

The wide angle convex viewing that the @Suma Performance mirrors, blue or non-blue gives you terrific side view mirror views.

By the way, even Suma Performance (Eddy) spews what I stated above about heavily tinted window glass and the blue mirrors are not a good combo.

About the install.... I was one of the first if not the first that installed Suma's on a JL. I had to fly by the seat of my pants on the install. I had no install instructions. I have never seen a forum post or anything on the internet in regard to how to change out the side mirror glass on a JL or JT..

Anyway, the stock mirror glass on a JT or JL just pulls off. Grab a hold of the mirror glass and pull steadily/firmly... and the mirror glass just pulls right off..

Once the mirror glass is free, you disconnect two wires related to the defroster feature of the side mirror. To install the Suma Performance mirror glass, you connect the two female connectors on the factory side mirror harness to the the 2 male pins on the mirror glass... then, you align the mirror glass and just press evenly and firmly and the mirror glass locks into position on the interior structure of the side view mirror housing.

A very easy install! So easy to install, I had my gal pal install the passenger side mirror glass... she had no issues at all doing the install."

Thanks! I don't have heavy tint but often do wear polarized sun glasses...so no blue for me .
