Looks like it does include those vehicle, very simple read.

The "don't drive or charge it". Like thank you for your money, but can't use the product. Seems they need to start buying these back.

Annual battery testing. 🤭
I don't think I could park one in "my garage" if I had one now. Probably not even close to my house or anything I didn't have very great insurance on.

They MUST issue such warnings - it's the NHTSA and legal side of things. Even if the risk is like 1 in 10,000,000, they must issue a warning to let it sit in the open. So I pretty much ignore that unless I find through my own research where there's a decent risk.......
our 4xe was in the garage, plugged in to a level II charger until an hour ago when my wife drove it to a friend's house for a quilt gathering.

It's also a Samsung thing - not a Jeep thing. Batteries are all Samsung in the WK2 and JLU 4xe so it's on Samsung to figure it out with Jeep. Jeep buys them, they spec the dimensions and so on, but Samsung actually designs and manufactures the batteries.

Sadly, we won't own that JLU 4xe much longer - we decided that power seats, cargo area, and other safety equipment were more important than the 4xe aspect, so she's trading it for a new JLU fully loaded. She'll actually be able to operate the new seats instead of having to have me do it.
We'd have gone for another 4xe, yes, I'd buy another, but the reign is a limited color and you can't buy a reign 4xe - dealer says he can't order any 4xe until next year, likely when the new, improved transmission/electric motor combo comes out.

Yes , what about the OTA that literally killed a bunch of the PHEV jeeps .
That alone is enough to discourage most . Who wants a vehicle to just die in the flow of traffic after someone hits a keystroke.

Could have just as easily been the gassers, too. It just so happened, it wasn't. There's no reason at all it could not have killed my 25JTMX except I didn't need nor get that update.
However, a couple of updates have led to a frozen "home screen" and the other day, it lost the backup cam and the whole radio screen went black for a while..............
So don't think that it was something that can ONLY can happen on the 4xe.

I was really close to driving my JT right to a dealership - when things came back.

Essentially, it's been "Bricked" lending to Jeeps being called bricks. So now it's literally and figuratively a Brick.

Our 21 GCL had the whole head unit replaced in 24 with lest than 15k, as it received an update and the screen went blank and we lost all controls to HVAC and all the other amenities that are managed by the screen and apps.

My wife had to have the "radio unit" replaced in her 21 WK2 and my son in his Compass.
It's a common thing - I think the latest head units are Samsung. Not sure who made the ones prior to 24

I feel really fortunate to have went these 4 years and 143K miles and not had any electrical issues with the head unit. That would definitely be annoying problem.
