392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

I had a 98 GC with the 5.2L and a 02 with the 4.7L. Both were a ton of fun.
The 02 was a monster in the snow with the Quadradrive.

I had the same, an 02 4.7L QuadraDrive.

It was a great Jeep when things weren't breaking.

My 4.7L ticked like a sewing machine, but never failed me.
Bought with 40K miles and sold it with 240K.
Did battery, fan clutch, thermostat, Front shaft (Replaced with U-joint style) and CV axles. Only issues that I ever had with it. Also very comfortable to drive.

Most of those that ended up with big fines had been posting their modification activities on the internet or were selling kits and parts that defeat emission's and advertise it and were surprised they ended up getting prosecuted. It still says civil enforcement when appropriate leaves things open for taking money or assets not that any government agency would want to do that right.

I asked and he responded that he will not be towing with this Gladiator, so we won't get any details for towing from him. I guess we'll have to see if DRC will tow with it.

Hey don't get me wrong, I love my Gladiator. I'm 9 years deep into Jeep ownership for a reason.

But I'm not married to it.

Granted - I don't need a diesel 3/4 ton anymore than I need a Jeep that I don't take the top and doors off of, but with my family now growing to five and a different looking future on the horizon. I don't know. I grew up flipping through Diesel Power Magazine and the only diesel I've ever owned is my John Deere 1025R.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't curious...

Well turns out, probably unlike property, there is another 2019 identical to the one above (color, package, everything), with 40K less miles, an hour the other direction.

I won't have time to entertain that until Monday.
