The scariest off camper one of as outside of ouray and there was a sharp bend where the rocks were wet and the passenger side wheels had to got over some rocks which really tilted you. So shelf road with a sharp bend and wet rocks on one side. I can’t remember which trail it was.
Sounds like the first turn down the switchbacks on Black Bear.

My day of ever doing Black Bear pass is gone. I'll do Sandstone Canyon in Barrago.

These guys seem to still think the V8 Gladiator is coming Q4 2026 on the current Gladiator platform.
This seems to be a dealer interview from the Dealer show where they got a preview of the new Dakota.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Saw this interesting video this morning.
I am sure this if true, is quite a ways down the road.
Sounds a lot more interesting than the Hurricane 4 and 6 bangers.

That’s a guy with 4k subscribers and a whole lot of speculation.

I talked to Rubitrux today, and I might be willing to take one for the team and do a hemi swap in my 2025 JT, just to insure that Stellantis announces production of a 392 JT for all you folks, within 60 days of me taking delivery. That’s how my luck goes.

But that said, just how much factory warranty would be voided by doing an engine and transmission swap? The powertrain warranty would of course be voided, but I wonder what else.

Most of it, they redo so much on them to fit the engine that it will be hard pressed to get much of anything warrantied I'd imagine.

I figured as much. I’m at that station in life where I can get away with blowing the cash, even if it’s stupid, but I just want to figure out exactly HOW stupid.

If I want a Jeep with a V8 the Wrangler will have to do.

I hear ya, I have about given up on a factory v8 midsize.
I bought another Ranger Raptors last week and put it in line for a Godzilla swap, supposedly I am about 6 months out for my engine/trans swap taking place. I am supposed to be 3rd in line for the swap on a Ranger Raptor. They are already cranking out some Godzilla swaps in Broncos.
I imagine about the time mine is done , Jeep, Ford, Ram they all will reales factory v8 mid-size trucks With full factory warranties etc etc. Lol

I recommend you go drive a 392 for a long test drive before you plop the cash. I took one home for the weekend as they tried to make the sale and while it was cool and made all the right sounds it wasn't worth the price to me. Its quick but once I regeared to 5.13s I don't lack passing power except towing. If you tow a lot then the swap might be worth it but if it's just to drive it around on the daily I'd really give it some thought. That said if they come out with a reasonable jt v8 I'd trade in just for the extra towing power.

I am also tempted to trade the wife's wrangler for a 392 moab but those are in the 60s not 100s like it used to be.
