Front axle is now officially beefed up. And I found out that my FAD wasnt bad after all. The teeth on my outer shaft were bent causing the collar the FAD slides back and forth to be wedged in place and wouldnt allow the FAD to do its job.



RCVs, Synergy Iron Knuckles, Gate Keeper light brackets, replacement FAD(already had it and cannot return), and my @Metalcloak Baller Joints all installed today.

Absolutely a monster amount of work for one day. Very impressed. Seriously.

Curious as to the exact synergy model of knuckles you used noticed they have the top hole also . And are you using a protector plate on the axle side of the lower control arm ? Looks like all yours is metal cloak

Thanks dude. All the bedliner/undercoating is under it now. Body primed. Black laid down on top. Time to lay topo lines and then clear.

Finding a clean one is not an easy task. Most I’ve seen in my price range would take more work than I’m currently willing to put in. Might look into a 1/4 ton trailer instead. Really only need it for events and stuff to carry a RTT. I plan on a SWAG for “overlanding” type stuff.

Have you tried to buy one from govplanet? I got mine for $750.

Annnnnnd its done. Time to swap the wheels for the powdercoated ones and put the freshly powdwrcoated rack back on and reassemble the tent etc!
