BASTARDS!! I emailed Morimoto if they had any sort of estimated release date for these and they responded with the following on 3/19!!

Ya know I think I got that same message a couple months ago when I found out about them and asked. It makes good business sense to keep it under wraps until it drops. Keeps the competition from announcing huge discounts and such right before they’re released. If a consumer buys a set of taillights from one company they most likely will not return them just because another company releases a similar product.

Ya know I think I got that same message a couple months ago when I found out about them and asked. It makes good business sense to keep it under wraps until it drops. Keeps the competition from announcing huge discounts and such right before they’re released. If a consumer buys a set of taillights from one company they most likely will not return them just because another company releases a similar product.

While Morimoto is known as a company with top notch products, stupid things like this make you wonder what would happen if you actually purchased their product, had an issue with it or was defective, and had to resolve it through Customer Service or Tech Suppport...

so I googled it and apparently Morimoto sucking is actually a thing!! I can say I honestly didn't know that and had never really heard anything negative, but it's all over the internet. It's actually suggested to go through a third party authorized retailer like Headlight Revolution. It's mind boggling to me to charge top tier prices and provide zero support to your customer base.

I ordered some smoked ones today. They had 1 set of red left in stock and 20 sets of smoked as of this morning. Might be a month or 2 before the next restock.

Mine came faster than expected. Threw them on the truck, look good, and worked as expected. I would say a quick install, but I had my 4 year old daughter "helping" me

My tails are at the shop. At the last minute I added the optional reverse light bar and guess what they’re waiting on? Yep. The add on is holding up the whole thing. I knew I shoulda just said “pass” but I wanted to be cool.

I actually just wanted to see if the thing works. Considering it for the 4Runner as well so want to get for mine first and make sure it’s worth it. If I got a crappy backup light for the Wife I’d never hear the end of it.

unfortunately our prior owners decided to sell some of our locations and shrink the company to a smaller size.

Good news we are back under ownership of one of the OGs of the company Greg Adler with partnership with ARB and Off-road warehouse.
