anyone have experience with what color looks close?

Rustoleum has a Kubota orange, Husqvarna Orange etc... nice to have something that kinda matches if you make stuff and want something other than black.

Not your color, but I bought a case of rattle cans from a dealer for mine. That’s what I’d do. Not cheap, but it’ll match.

I bought a can of Mopar Mojito, but I've found a Rustoleum color that is sort of close. I prime, then use the Rustoleum and then top coat with the color matched from Mopar.

Bought two cans from Wally over the weekend.

TLDR - krylon gloss popsicle orange is pretty bang on

See picture... darker on the top is Rustoleum Gloss Orange, Bottom is the krylon,

Would I paint a body panel with it? I dunno, but extra parts, 100% will.

Jeep Gladiator Joose Orange paint match for parts - rustoleum ? paint

The Mopar paint isn't that more expensive. I've used their hydro blue and then the Mopar clear coat and you cannot see where I have painted. Go with the exact match. They even sell paint pens for fixing scratches. It works great. Spray can is about $22.50 a can and the pen is about $16.20.

You can order them from the parts department at your local dealership.

I have tons of mopar color, but didn’t think to buy their clear. And I had problems with it holding due to likely different clear types. Do they sell the clear in larger cans than the color?

I believe so, but it’s been a few years since I’ve gotten paint. I do know you have order it through the dealership because they won’t ship the paint because of the chemicals. At least that’s why Mopar claims.

When I applied the hydro blue I was pissed. I was like this doesn't match at all!
Then I applied the clear coat and I was like, oh wow! Matched perfectly.

Same with me. I bought a dozen cans of color and it took a few weeks to be able to pick up.
