Is anyone here running the RK 2” lift? I’m running 35’s and looking for some more clearance. I could run spacers, e.g 2” front and 1.5 rear but would prefer springs. Curious of anyone is actually running the 2” RK because it seems like regardless of brand, most folks are opting for 3 or 3.5”.

more lift than I’m looking for. Even the 1.5 Clayton appears to give more than 2.5” from
The pictures I’ve seen recently.

Why lift running 35’s? Runs 35’s stock, with the correct spacing offset rims?

just want a little lift for looks. 😁 Plus I like a little taller as my previous daily and now backup is a lifted JK.

a spacer lift is probably the best option but I’m curious about different brands lifts and have tried multiple setups on my JK to see what I liked, what worked well, what didn’t. The RK 2” is intriguing as is the MC 2.5. But I could just use spacers and upgrade shocks.

You can run 35s on a stock Rubi

I know. I am. It’s not about clearance.
Its always going to equal more clearance . Which is not a negative if it is built correctly

Understood. My comment to the other member was that I'm running 35's currently and they fit so I know I don't need a lift to run 35's 👍

This is what i have been looking at. I don't want to lose teh factory Rubi ride. I like the way it feels. I have been on some trail that the stock height doesn't clear. I also want to correct any geometry changes so i have been thinking of spacers and front LCA's and shock relocation brackets. All the spring replacements i have seen are stiffer than Rubi stock springs (from what i have seen.) I don't invest as much time as i'd like wheeling but having the extra bump in height would be nice and look just a little better than stock. I love that we can run 35's but they do rub full stuff but its tolerable.

That makes sense to me. If you like the stock ride you have and don't want to change that, a 2" spacer lift with matching shock extensions and bumpstop extensions (you need to pair the shock extensions with bumpstop extensions) along with either a set of longer lower front control arms or a set of adjustable lower front control arms should do what you are describing. The Mopar longer lower front arms would be the least fuss as they should be install and forget about it, but I do lean toward adjustable to give me the ability to fine tune. Also, I tend to be hard on stuff.

With spacers for lift you can also add more height up front, or even in back, if desired, allowing you to tailor the stance to your needs. My diesel JT sits butt high, and I would rather it sits level. But that will be fixed shortly.

Exactly, it can get to a point really fast where you have to start looking at shocks, driveshafts, steering links, track bars ................................... Jeep makes it easy to fall into the rabbit hole. I'd love a bumper and winch but realistically, will i ever even need it? i had one on my wrangler and i don't think i ever actually needed it. Still want it though. I see teraflex sell Adjustable control arms too. It is so easy to go overboard.
