Congrats GreyHawk!! Love it.

Now with name you should get a great theme to go with it. Get some nice decals to fit the name. for example The new bronze outline and blue/green decals from 85th edition can give you some inspiration and can look great against the anvil paint.

If you want a nice tailgate custom name and fender logos talk to Ryan at Gladuis Offroad. He is a great humble guy who is starting to really take off. Fo Decals you can check pixel decals here on the forums, yoto advanture,The jeep decal store is great, Dan from any sticker you want is a good guy as well and i worked with him. Good luck and have fun.

Congrats and welcome to the group.

Do you have a theme in mind? What is on deck for your build? Might help conjure up something.

No theme in mind necessarily just ideas of what I want it to look like. I will be using as a daily commuter so trying to stay mindful of it. This upcoming week I’ll be receiving a RC 2.5in lvling kit, cold air intake and throttle body spacer. Possibly sticking with same wheels for now but getting some 285’s.

welcome to the addiction!
i read your post about yours, felt the same when i first drove mine. First truck I’ve ever owned though, so for me it doesn’t compare to anything prior.

My friend used to name his vehicles from the name of the person he bought it from. He never bought new, but I suppose you could have used the name of the salesman. For me, they really don't get names. Gladi = Gladiator, Roxi = Roxor, vicki = Crown Victoria an Tahoe = Tahoe. I could shorten to ... Hoe?

I didn't even name mine. Some random older guy with a "I've been living in the Alaskan Bush for 30 years and wow this town got big" beard saw me as I was driving off the lot. He complemented me on my new Jeep, pointed out his ancient reclaimed Postal Service Scrambler, and said, "...that grey color looks like old battleship steel... like one of them old dreadnoughts!"

And it just clicked.

When Random Mountain Man gives something a name, you heed the call.

An old friend of mine had an... umm... "massaged" GMT400 2 door Tahoe in the late 90's that was affectionately known as "The Hoe." He ordered a vanity tag that said "The Hoe," and surprisingly it got approved. We were all shocked but hey, crazy things happen.

He went to the MVA to pick up his plate, the bureaucratic troll at the counter claimed it was offensive even though it was very clear it was for a Tahoe and took it right out of his hands. Oh well.
