So Launch edition Granites which were ordered first will come after orders for granite yet to come. Take about frustrating. Makes me want to say !$@%#& jeep all together and cancel my order. And just get a Raptor.
It's more likely that dealer spec orders will be built first, then the LE orders, then any orders submitted when order banks open.

So, I notice some colors has specified body color matching hard tops in the build code. Does that mean the colors that doesn’t lost the HT3 designation can’t be body colored at this time? JW

Yeah that makes no sense at all! So disappointing

I see this as a good thing. I personally don't want the first Granite to come off the line. Let them work out the paint bugs on the pre-spec ones first. When they have it figured out a few weeks later, go ahead and start making my Granite LE. Not going to significantly impact when I get it in my hands anyway (LE's only about 2 weeks after first Granites, and that's with the July 4th holiday in between). My dealer told me expect it in August when I ordered it on 4/4, and looks like it's right on schedule.

7/8/19 I hope!
Oh... I guess it does have the year... couldn’t see it through my tears...
lol! Nah, my eternal optimism was getting the best of me! My dealer said on the 4th I should expect delivery on my Granite LE between August and October! Now hoping for closer to August! (There goes the optimism again!) ;{

Wow... big time bummer for my Gator dreams. More of a picked the slow horse kind of bummer than I'm angry at anyone bummer.

But still a big time bummer.

By the stated dates and logic and typical build and delivery times, I'm looking at November to park my butt in it, and a year to wait to enjoy my Class Exclusive Open Air Freedom™ since it just got nice enough around these parts to do that sort of thing and sure won't be in November.

Bummer.

Actively considering Black... hopefully Gator will stick as a color and I'll get one in 3 years the next go around, which would only be 2.5 later than I could get Gator anyways. Be less painful to wait while I'm driving one around. And if it goes away, I like Black, I'll just get another Black which I'm sure will exist.
@spenchey at his word.
Unfortunately, Gator falls into the category of color that Jeep likes to run for a 1-1.5 model years. As it comes out so late in the year, I expect it to make it into the 2021 model year, but would be shocked to see a longer run. Granite Crystal, however, arrived later in 2014, but falls into the “core popular” color category (big sellers, white, black, silver, gray, and red/maroon)...so it won’t go away. I remember well just how excited people were back then for GC.

I agree. I'll probably miss out on owning one if I jump. After all this waiting, dreaming, planning and saving though, the prospect of not cruising up Rt 62 towards Tidioute with the top off until a year from now is just more than I can bear over the color of the paint.

If I liked Gator as 100 on a scale, I like Black 99. I won't be despondent.

The schedule exposes my priorities I suppose! I'll only keep whatever I get for 3 years anyways. Hopefully they'll still be making Gladiators then. Loved my H3T, but it wasn't there to buy again 3 years later.

It's tempting to be salty and jump ship to another vehicle... but I'm not sure what the other off road oriented easily customizable removable roof pickup is. So I'll just get my close second choice color and damn the consequences. :rock:

So basically all the best colors at sorted right at the end. SMH. Glad I placed my order and not waited for my color cause I would have been waiting until October to order. Thanks for posting this. If you don't mind me asking, where did you ascertain this information?
No matter which colors came last, someone would have this comment lol

My LE is taking toooo long. I'm buying a 4Runner this week AND I'll keep the LE when it finally gets here.

I know this is just wishful thinking but are these dates set in stone or is there a chance that they get pushed up. Or I don’t even want to speak the words but get pushback

I understand that the bumper has nothing to do with the color you chose

So what are the chances of yellow being available in the future? The one head guy talked about "cartoon colors" being available at a later date in an interview. Guess I'm waiting even longer
