Waiting on my billet silver Rubi with MT still. Ordered 5/6.... Dealer told me on 5/14 I'm in D status when I called. Not sure when I actually got into D status but it's been at least since 5/14. So either way it's been more than the 30 days they suggested. Jeep chat just keeps telling me to check back next week.

Hey Guys, sorry it took so long for me to update but I wanted to give it a full week before I got a status update. I checked on Saturday and no change all the parts are on hand and the order is waiting to be scheduled for build.

So my question to the group is has anyone taken delivery of an MT that was ordered?

I'm wondering if I hit the perfect build combination in my build sheet that helped push me to D1. Fairly basic build. Just hope it doesn't get stuck in D1 or further down the road.

Sport S (23S)
Silver (PSC)
MT (DEM)
Dueler AT (TTH)
Hard top (HT1)
Cold weather (ADE)
Tow package (ABR)
Roll-up Tonneau cover (CSD)

Just noticed this on the bottom of the build sheet as well
Easy order (5N6)
Sold vehicle (4EA)
Zone 42-Detriot (142)
I'm not sure if that is typical or not I assume the zone 42-Detriot is for shipping.

Every build sheet I made said Easy Order, Sold Vehicle, Zone 42.

I ordered May 31st so I am not in panic mode yet. I made any easy build Sport S, Black, Manual, Soft Top, Tow, Bedliner, Aux Switch ... afraid those last two might slow me down though

Well this is a crazy thread to come up on. I was going to wait to put in my order on an manual until the gobi comes out, but maybe I should do it now and it i'll be ready by this fall?

Ordered mine on 4/28. VIN assigned 5/6. D status every time I check in with Jeep chat - last time was Friday 6/14. Same scripted response. Ordered M/T black rubicon with several options.

Salesman texted me back “ nothing has changed” same status. Just going to have to be patient

This is the email I just received from Jeep just now. So hope for some good news in July.

Dear Adam,

This is a follow up email in regards to your Jeep Gladiator order. We have looked into the order further and I have been advised that production for your vehicle order with the Steel Front Bumper is expected to begin late June. We do recommend waiting till 07/01 to contact for your next update and we should be able to advise more from there.

Cool... but basically letting you know he'll look into it and let you know.

You'd think he'd have just looked into and let you know, skipping the letting you know he'll let you know part. The congratulations were nice I suppose. I'm a sucker for banal platitudes. I enjoy the odd bit of sunshine blown directly up my posterior from time to time.

I'm not impatient about the whole deal yet, but someone somewhere does have a straight answer on why they're not going down the line. There's a very good reason for it, I'm sure of that, even if I don't like that very good reason. I'd just like to know what it is, for curiosity's sake if nothing else.
