I just got word from a dealership that the front facing camera is going to be available to order next week. So excited!

Only things left that I’m waiting for, and it will be awhile; Diesel engine, and Punk’n (witch should be coming in a few weeks to order).

When the diesel came out on the Grand Jeep Cherokee, I drove it and the V8 and preferred the diesel. I’ve always loved V8s, but the diesel was impressive. Can’t wait to get it on my JT.

Lol, I’ve had not one, but two dreams now that I’m driving a Gladiator. One was on a freeway, the other was driving into the woods with the bed full of camping gear.

I'm definitely sitting around waiting for the diesel, especially with the Gen 3 info being announced. 480ft-lbs will make towing a breeze even if the limit is a bit lower than the 3.6. My only hope is they offer it in all trim levels as I want as bare bones as I can get.

Ha. Can't wait to get rid of my EcoDiesel Grand Cherokee and get my gas JT. The engine is great, but the emissions system has been nothing but problems for 100k miles. Of course, on the GC the tow rating was higher than the V6 (on par with the V8). On the GC they only offered the EcoDiesel on Limited trims and above, so may not be available on JT Sport/Sport S.

Hi guys, it's my first post, but I've been lurking for a month or so. I ordered my Rubicon on 06/06 with the camera. The bumper couldn't be ordered (fine, I'll go AEV), but the camera could and was.

This will be my 6th Jeep (CJ7, XJ, TJ, LJ Rubicon, JKUR, and now the JTR). I'm looking forward to it and this forum has been very helpful.

I know people have had issues with previous exhaust system stuff. I also know some people that have had 0 issues. This is also a new generation of Eco-diesel, so hopefully also updated exhaust. We will see how it all plays out, I probably won't be able to make a purchase until the end of next year anyways.

I’m just hoping it’s worth it. When I drove the Grand Cherokee I was impressed, and know the JT will be too.
Will the front facing camera work on a Sport S model?
No, only Rubicon. You’d have to get after market for Sport S
