I ended up making a deal at the dealership... they've got a take off set of Gladiator Overland wheels that they are putting the 33" Nittos on and they're tinting my front windows for all for $1200. I've shopped wheel and tire combos and the price is a couple hundred less than the box stores... throw in the window tint and it's like hitting the "easy button".
I would take that deal for sure. Some are selling the wheels and tires alone for that. I will keep this deal in my pocket for when I take delivery if the dealers wants to sell some upgrades.

Picked up my ordered Rubicon yesterday from Travis at Tri-City with 3 miles on the odometer and drove it home last night 450+ miles with no issues.

Between yesterday and today, probably had close to 6 or more thumbs up from people on the highway or when I stopped for fuel. Did not see a single other one on the road from NC to DE on my travel back home.

Awesome! Where are you in Delaware?

Sweet! We are in Lewes/Harbeson/Milton area... did you try local dealers first or just go for the deal that Travis offered due to no crap haggling? Thanks for the info!

I tried giving my local dealer in Elkton MD a chance but they were straight up clueless about anything with the Gladiator Launch and did not really know where they were going to be on pricing at MSRP or possibly above MSRP. I like them for the service department but they are a MSRP only on most of their other FCA items.

Travis made it a no brainer to deal with him. Easiest deal I have ever done of a new vehicle purchase. No traps or back peddling on anything.

I'm excited to see how your wheel upgrade looks. I'm not much for lifts or tires, but a beefier look for reasonable cost is def enticing to me.

I'm sure you will post after photos and perhaps share your cost if you would be so kind?
Here you go. I actually got a set of Overland wheels and I think they look great.

That’s awesome! Glad you were able to work with him, seems like everyone has had a good experience with him. I haven’t purchased yet, but my local dealer said they would price match, but only on an order... which is fine. Tried another local one and they are MSRP or higher and wouldn’t budge...they had exactly what I wanted to. Thanks for the info and congratulations again!!

I was working with one of our local dealers the past couple weeks. Sending him my configurations and asking questions... pretty much getting back "you probably know more about it than I do!"

Somewhat frustrating, but I was determined to test drive a Gladiator before placing an order. So when the dealer got in a white Overland (not a special order!) I headed over the next day to check it out. It was still in ship mode so the radio didn't work but I loved every minute of driving it. Got Jeep waves from everyone. When I got back I decided to buy it on the spot -- it was a beautiful day and I didn't want to wait 3 months just for a body color hard top. I'll just pull one from the junkyard in a few years ;)

It's pretty much what I configured, aside from the body-color hard top. It's an Overland with everything except safety options, bluetooth speaker, bedliner, slush mats (my dealer told me they're not being made yet?), aux switches, and the trac-lok rear diff. I was torn between silver and white but I'm glad I got white, it's very sharp! I'm planning on getting the rumored "Retro Decals" if they ever become available.

I bought it mainly for driving to work (I work remotely though so I don't drive too much except to go on-site), top-down cruising, and towing the occasional parts/project car. One of my hobbies is restoring classic cars... currently working on my Mom's 1980 MGB LE and then planning to refresh my 97 Jeep Cherokee.

I paid MSRP + 8.75% sales tax... pretty much what I expected.

Loving it so far! I've been following the manual's recommended engine break-in procedure and applying wide open throttle on the highway from time to time ;)

Planning to look into LineX bedliner locally. I also want to get scuff plates for the door sills -- the white makes them look especially vulnerable.

Lots of complements already. I'm enjoying it being a spectacle for now but will be glad when there are more on the road and there's less attention.

Looking forward to getting mine in a few weeks. Same exterior and trim as yours, And saddle interior. My first upgrade will be new tires. They seem slightly undersized to me.

Post some pics of the saddle interior! I love the black but I think saddle will look slick with white.
