I was dead set on the Armory wheels from Black Rhino and now am contemplating these steelies LOL

So, @JTRUBI @2020 SCRAMBLER @chrcal14 are you guys saying that the wheels in the wayout concept is the same as Stockton and the stockton wheels are same as the one from wheelvintiques?

http://www.stocktonwheel.com/smoothie.html

Vs

https://www.wheelvintiques.com/wheels/truck/jw-series-jeep-smoothie.html

I am contemplating getting them painted Firecracker Red. But, now this would be steelies Vs alloy LOL Idk why I am having so much trouble making a decision on the wheels smh...

Do you guys think red on red wheels will be too much? I feel like maybe a bronze paint?

FYI- this is the email I got about inquiring on the Stockton wheels

its all built to order so you would need to give us the backspacing..most of the time we built them 17x8 or 17x9 with 4.5" to 5.5" of backspacing..a lots of 17x8 with 4.5" backspacing..they run about 290.00 each raw bare steel and 40.00 each to ship to Denver..thanks

These Wayout’s wheels are supposedly from Stockton. Not sure if Wheel Vintiques work or not on JTs...but the classic LandCruiser crowd loves the WV’s.

Really think the steelies only work with more “earthy” color paint tones. And definitely not color matched on primary colors (like red, pumpkin, blue).

Some guy on a FB Gladiator page did matte black on a gloss black. It looks meh. I’d go with a Sting Grey color on all but gray, silver, and white body colors.

You are right about the colors, I'll contact Stockton. But, I think I might have landed on the right color for it though - matte bronze painted on the firecracker red LE will do it for me.

My question is about the air equipment.

I believe the air equipment is a custom installation of the ARB dual compressors under the hood. I want to use that space for the sPOD and don't want to put the air compressor in there under the hood. I am installing the air compressor setup from https://www.innovativejkproducts.com/jt-gladiator/ which go under the seats and is a pretty cool setup.

I am waiting for @ralphjjr to finish being a guinea pig for the Genesis dual battery kit :), and if it works without any hiccups, I will be installing both on mine...

But, if you want the exact setup like the Wayout concept, I believe some guy on YT had already done an install like that for air and water like that. Need to search YT for that install video.

I'm planning to do this Monday night. The Dual Battery kit is here, just waiting on the batteries. Maybe I'll put the kit in Sunday night and drive my van Monday - it hasn't sold yet :crying:

I've actually been watching the install video over and over, and transcribing it into a word doc.

I like the under seat one. It will keep the mud out of the outlets as well

I think I'm incorporating drinking water and compressed air Into a 7" bed custom drawer solution.

I have the US Wheel Rat Rod steel smoothies on my JLUR. I ordered then in black but I just recently painted them bronze. I still need to paint the bumpers and rock sliders but this should give you an idea. I love them btw. Here are a couple of crappy pics.
