All questions answered on OEM Soft Tonneau Cover?

That silver latch just locks the rest of the cover down. It has nothing to do with the weekend warrior mode. I can make my video look like it locks if I wanted to troll someone too. See my video. Unless someone from this forum, that I trust, can show a video of it locking, then I will not believe it. Until then, I still think that guy is trolling.

THANK YOU! I spent an hour at a dealer messing with the factory cover because some clown on Facebook INSISTED it locked. There was literally nothing I could do to get it to "lock". Now I know.

Well the soft fold (twill) rollup Mopar from quadratec came in the mail . Ok it was a trifold mopar cover so I’m not sure but between mopar & Quadratec i got the wrong one also the front brackets were two left side brackets it wouldn’t even work anyway. So I’m sending it back & refunding my money because the one i want won’t ship until August. So oh well.

1. roll up This may be a rumor, i can't seem to find a photo of it, but i read somewhere that it existed. i'll try to find where.
2. soft trifold

The one made of fabric, and is the same material as the Premium soft top, option price $495 is Called a the ( Roll Up Tonneau Cover) even though people feel like it folds , I think it take 6 to 7 rolls (or folds) to open completely and has tie down straps to secure,

i thought i heard there were 2 made of fabric, maybe its the soft trifold-vs the soft roll up.

On the hard cover I wonder if you lock it and unlock it from the outside with a key. Wonder if that’s what I am seeing in the drivers side rear corner. Or does it get unlocked from the inside once you drop the tailgate? Does anyone know? Anyone got a better, up close picture of this area of the hard folding cover? Has anyone seen a video of this hard cover being opened? Thanks

I think so too. The factory roll up one obviously needs some bracing throughout, I think that's what you are seeing as 6 sections.
My dealer told me the $940 is the same as the $495 factory option.
