Hmm I am confused, I thought I posted this, but I can't find it. This is more a brain dump than a coherent pro/con list.

Two weeks ago, I spoke with both Exploration Outfitters, that distributes PCOR, and Mainline Overland, they distribute Norweld here in the US.

First off, both are first rate companies. Super willing to answer questions and friendly.

There are already examples of PCOR on Gladiators, but none yet of the Norweld canopies.

PCOR looks more polished, especially with the black, and also they do have a lot more options. However, they are also more expensive - probably on the order of $10k+ if you go all out.

My personal choice was Norweld. I like the simplicity of it. But, not as many options.

One note - either have a good wait. You'd have to put a deposit down/pay, and then wait for a few months to get it from Australia. But if you are really interested, of course, reach out to the respective suppliers here in the US and get all the details.

I'm passing on the Norweld for a Nuthouse Industries rack, I can't fully commit to replacing the bed right now.

This is awesome. Are you running 37’s?
i don't think that's @SKT's truck, he has a vacuum that sucks up every JT photo off the internet and then posts them to us on like every thread somehow.

he's like a JT photo-magician.

Oh. Well good on him then! I’m looking to run a very similar setup to that truck.

@SKT I’d suggest always including a line that actually says the source. Save yourself from all the replies, or people going crazy trying to find it themselves lol which I’ve done!

I found out something interesting. I asked if the the softopper (https://www.softopper.com/softopper) would fit under the leitner. Here is what they said:
Thank you for your email!
Unfortunately, we only know of 1 rack that will fit over our Softoppers.
We recommend the Truck Cap Rack by US Rack. The link is listed below:

https://www.usrack.com/responsive/truck-cap-rack.php

However, the Softopper won't retract with the US Rack installed without needing to go through an extra step. You just have to take the folding frame off the pivot pins and lower it into the truck bed, then fold it forward, and then pop the folding frame back onto the pivot pins. There is no company out there that makes a rack that is tall enough to retract our Softoppers under it without having to go through this step. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you,

Honestly, it kind of ruins it for me. I'm going to see if some of these custom canvas or boat shops could make a cover or something. I looked at the usrack cover and its pretty rough.

So about $26k to get the pcor going? How much for additional options?
I just feel like if you do the PCOR canopy it should be done on a Diesel... But again, this is just my personal opinion. I would like to get this PCOR on a Gator Diesel Rubi :)
