Who ordered front camera?

I bought the camera because while off-roading in Moab there where many times All I could see was the sky, so I was thinking that this way I could see the ground as well.

So when I was making my deal at the dealership about a month ago they mocked up my build so we could agree on a price. The trail cam was grayed out and couldn't be selected. Yes, we had the LED and 8.4 radio selected. I just checked again today and it is still grayed out.
Has anybody tried or been able to order this recently? I am waiting on Gobi so I still have time but I really wanted this option. I have driven vehicles with a front camera and it is handy.

I added the front camera on my current Offroad rig aftermarket and its proven to be incredibly useful, so for me it was a dealbreaker to not get the camera on the gladiator. I just ordered on the 12th.

We tried to mock up an order today using Billet silver as the color. Added the nav and LED and it was still grayed out.

that is correct. there is a glitch in the system where you have to have the dealer check a box showing it as a "purchased order" not an inventory order. once that box gets checked showing its basically a guaranteed sale for a specific customer, the option will show up. I sent 4 hours at the dealership, talking to two managers, talking to corporate. it can be ordered, but there are some hoops to jump through. my VON shows it in the build/order sheet though.

I could also see it being useful if you have to parallel park in a tight spot. see what's in front and in back.

I think the front camera will be better than asking my wife if we are good , if it wasn't for the advent of GPS I would be divorced. In reality the front camera could possibly save me from loosing half my $hit , kind of a bargain if you think about it.

I can confirm I was able to order a Sting Gray Gladiator Rubicon today with the forward facing trail cam. Steel bumper is still unavailable, though.

I'm in the same yacht as you, waiting on Gobi and all of the options, well most of them.... Hopefully this wait will be over soon.

Good to know. Elsewhere on the forum it has been mentioned in the last couple days that forward cams are not available as relayed by an FCA person. Of course we haven't seen any contradictions or incorrect information with this launch .

I'm NOT ordering a JT without the front camera, I am compromising on not getting the steel front bumper because that is something I can find down the road. If it turns out the camera isn't available on Aug 26th, I will likely wait for the 2021 JT, and buy something in the meantime.

And I consider myself lucky as I never intended to order the steel bumper. Too many aftermarket options that cost less. I'm looking at the LoD mid width signature

That bumper is only $63 cheaper than the OEM steel bumper. With the skid, it's about $80 more than the factory bumper.
