Awas, any update on this? Thoughts? I need something from a M/T Rubicon that's actually in their possession. Especially after being told, yet again, I'm still in "D" status. Thanks!
I absolutely love it. No complaints. Best manual transmission I’ve had in a Jeep. Typical high torque first gear, and probably could start out in 2nd if you wanted. If you’ve driven a manual Jeep before I’m sure you’ll love it too. I had new wheels and 35s put on it last Thursday and no difference from the factory ride.

Sorry I haven’t been as active on here since getting it.

Man, I ordered a manual as well, I hope that not gonna be an issue. Some are saying it is, but others say everything else is an issue, so who knows.
It looks like that people that ordered manuals are finally starting to see them. I’m sure if you look at the beginning of the thread you will some ordered in April and are still in D status. Some ordered in May and have them. We can’t figure out the rhyme or reasoning behind this lottery build. Just sit back and enjoy the ride my man

Dealer texted the Good and Bad news last night: my Truck arrived! Also, no employee pricing yet...

So, we’re crunching numbers on trade and just how much he’s willing to discount. But, if no agreement is reached, he’ll have a White manual Rubi to sell and I’ll just wait to order Gobi when EP is honored.

White Rubicon
Manual
Premium soft top
Bedliner
Trail Rail system
Cold Wx package
Tow package
MT tires
Aux switch group
Almost my same exact build minus soft top, I ordered the hard top. Still D1 after over 60+ days

My dealership GM called me yesterday after I had just confirmed on Jeep Chat that I was still D1 and says “just got off the phone with Jeep corporate and everything is still on schedule for 7/31 ship date...the build only takes 18 hours so back 7/31 up 18 hours and you should be built 7/30 and ship the next day”....so frustrating that he thinks I buy that. He knows I’m talking to you all and everyone else who has experienced delays throughout the entire build process. Others have said the ship date received with D1 actually ends up being the build date. I’ve come to realize I won’t get my truck until September at the earliest and might end up ordering a Gobi.

They do not think we all talk to each other

He knows because I’ve told him haha, but I also have an email from a competitor offering 5 1/2% below invoice on factory orders that he said he’ll honor which will be nice.

My only saving grace in all of this is my hopes that living 30 minutes from the plant should shorten delivery time. I know from being in the JK/JL plant, the entire build process is very stream-lined, as long as there are no issues. I just hope I don't end up in D1 for a prolonged period like others have!

Congrats! I ordered a pretty similar Sport S three days after you, and have been about a week behind your different stages. Will presumably take longer to get to Maine than Michigan, but this gives me some hope.

I'm with ya. Plan B is to let my currently ordered Black go and order Gator, since I'm not even to D1 yet, let alone built and shipped. Still D 75 days after order.

In the meantime, I don't have a better option than to sit and see what happens. I've discussed that with the dealer and it's already agreed to.
