Body Color or Black Fender Flares?

I really like contrast of the Punk'n and Firecracker Red with the black roof and flares a lot better then a solid color Jeep in those two colors; very subjective though.

like the black but Color looks good on certain colors, The Reason I Bought the Billet Silver Gladiator overland was it came with color fenders, On my 2001 Solar Yellow Wrangler the black fenders faded so bad after 3 yrs, Had to have a paint shop clean them, spray a bonding agent and paint them black.

I think the matte black look more military-esque and I dig that vibe. that's why i went with black fenders and black top on my white JT, think i'm doing the same on my Gator, but that's almost 3 years away. booo

This exactly.
If you loose or damage a fender flare its very costly to get it color matched.
Plus the black on (insert color) imo looks better. Looks more utilitarian which is my style.

I totally agree. Bought mine white with black fenders and hardtop because I think it looks more like a Jeep. I know that sounds silly so I guess utilitarian is the right term. Love that look!

Oh, yeah...most places actually offer them as separate pairs, as opposed to a set of 4.

I have the bright white and have black fenders. I think the white with white fenders is simply too much white.

I agree that some colors look good with black fender/top and some look good with painted top/fender...at the end of the day, these things just look awesome!
I went white in white as back in mid May, that’s what they had...

Like the post; I use the front bumper as I have the body color flares.

I ordered a white JTR (30 Aug) with white top and black fenders flares. I was changing my mind constantly between the painted and black flares before I ordered, if I would have ordered the the day before or the day after I may have ordered the painted flares.

For me, I prefer the black fenders/ hardtop on all but the Silver/Granite/Stingray. The only colours I could go either way on.
