Where are you installing VIAIR kit?

I’d search the compressor threads on the JL forums. I think there are some kits that let you mount it under the Wrangler, in the frame rails. That may still be a viable option for the Gladiator.

I’ve got the ARB twin compressor for my JLU. I’m still trying to figure out where I’m going to put it on the JT. Probably somewhere in the bed.

I think, if I recall correctly DV8 makes a mounting bracket that goes up inside the engine bay.

The bright blue is a Viair compressor (for ARB lockers) and the York compressor is good for 10.4 cfm at 90 psi with a 2 1/2 gal. tank behind the seats. Good for air tools.

You are correct and it WILL work on a Gladiator however the OP is looking for something to mount his viair system.

I originally thought about doing that on my JLU but I’ve done enough water crossings to think it’s not a good idea.

Agreed! I’m thinking, if possible, to mount on bed wall behind passenger side seat.

Yea, that's one. I'm also considering under the front passenger seat and towards the rear of the bed, next to the tailgate. I'm going to install a diamond back tonneau cover so that would keep it dry. One other thought I had was to security to the diamondback top and put an air outlet on the back edge of the top.

The diesel won't be out for a while so I've got time to think on it.

Have you made any progress with this idea on the Viair compressor and tank locations? I was under my diesel this morning and there is a large side to side location just forward of the rear axle and driver side of the driveshaft.
