LED Bulb Replacement - IT WORKS!

Did anyone have to drill vent holes in the headlight covers with drop in LED bulbs? I put an LED bulb on my Ducati and the instructions said it needed airflow.

Did you ever figure out if they need venting?

i'm not drilling a hole, i'm just crossing fingers and we'll see if it lasts 3 years or not. Wisconsin is cold as a witch'es titty for 6 months out of the year anyways.

There is concern by some that the aftermarket led headlight bulb with external ballast shoved into the headlight assembly will be too hot without ventilation. Time will tell.

Lol yep, so far so good for me. I'm planning on getting the Oracle LED headlights or maybe OEM next year anyway, so if these bulbs burn out I won't be heartbroken. I don't do a lot of night driving anyway

I accidentally ordered red for my drl’s then reordered white but the dealer said the t20 bulbs will work in the signal/brake light. Not sure if the bulb I have has the ability to do both but will see when my other lights show up. It sure looks mean with the red drl’s. Haven’t been stopped yet.

I built my JT with the LED package, but, ordered the Amazon recommended set for my wife's JLU. Thanks for the recommendations!
