A full LED headlight unit is where you’re going to see the biggest difference — cleaner beam pattern, way better distance, and no weird scatter if you end up going with the wrong brand.

The Oculus LEDs are a solid pick for the Gladiator, and they’re usually priced really well around Black Friday. Just throwing that out there if you’re already planning to upgrade for winter driving!

A few years back, I got a variation of this model replacing Halogens on my gladiator.

I had to slightly re-aim/lower the headlights since the LEDs throw much more light than the OE Halogens.

The LED diode orientation within the headlight housing is an important thing to note. There are a few posts about the right orientation so that the high-beam diode and the low-beam diode are pointing in the right direction.

Been a few years and its been running well. Hasn't bothered other drivers on the road.

I ran a set just like this and had no problems for three years, then one of them started to fail.

I went back to Sylvania Xtra Vision's (regular bulbs), and funny enough I get flashed often with these, but rarely did with my LED's, and my headlights are pointed down some from when I did the LED swap 😄

Don't use LED replacement bulbs. They look tacky and they blind everyone. Go with a full headlight replacment.
